This review isn't for KFC as a firm but for one of the members of staff who works in the Lytham Road KFC called William or as he preferred Will.
Me and my family visited tonight and we'd noticed last time Will was working and was really nice with us when ordering, he even apologised to us for waiting as ALL other staff seemed disinterested and not wanting to help Will serve people.
We noticed one of the managers called Georgia didn't offer Will any help neither did she attempt to get other staff to help him serve people as well as help the just eat delivery people where as Will managed all this on his own.
We were unfortunate to also witness around 7 to 8 youths girls and lads shouting swearing and trying to intimidate and disrespect Will when he was simply doing his job.
This made an uncomfortable atmosphere for families or people wanting to eat in peace as the youths thought they could say anything they wanted unchallenged and the lads in the group all wore balaclavas so they couldn't be identified.
We attempted to try to help Will out by asking him not to unlock doors to other areas of KFC as they wasn't paying customers.
Will maintained his professional behaviour and even brought the remainder of our order to the table as well and apologised for the youths behaviour and the wait.
We acknowledged this but explained to Will he had nothing to apologise for and other staff should of helped him.
Our children helped Will by clearing our table and binning the rubbish to save him some time and thanked him for his service.
Will was greatly appreciative of this feedback and said it makes a difference when he gets nice people to serve.
I have no idea how this guy managed that on his own at what looked like a few hours but was in fact an hour and he'd only been there a few weeks.
This guys professionalism and great customer service is honestly wasted on poor management from KFC.
Will was absolutely outstanding and our food was greatly recieved and hot on arrival we hope Will goes on to greater and better things.

Read moreI am disgusted with the service I required today. There were two small groups of customers. We got to the counter after waiting more than five minuets and ordered our food only to be told they had ran out of popcorn chicken! We had to change meals as there was no replacement available for the missing popcorn chicken. After ordering our food we were told there would be a five minute wait. We waited 15 minutes for our order but could not understand why as the restauraunt was practically empty. When I sat at the table I was appuled to see food and grease on the table. No one was around to clean the tables. We were sat eating our food for about half an hour and not one table was cleaned around us. I went to the counter to get ketchup and salt, i was stood there waiting for a further 10 muinets waiting for someone to serve me, I said excuse me several times to try and get the staffs attention but clearly they have no mannors, they ignored me. By the time I got my ketchup and salt my food was cold. There were customers ordering food and being told that they would have to wait 9 minutes for their order, one customer asked if they could replace the missing item with something different. The staff member rolled his eyes laughing and said no. I am disgusted in the service received. The staff are rude, incompetent and don't have a clue what they are doing and the tables are disgusting and were never cleaned. I WILL NOT be visiting here again nor will I be advertising this...
Read moreI would normally always rate the service as 5 star as I Regularly pick up a meal here at end of my 10 hr shift. Staff are always extremely helpful and pleasant. This evening I went in at almost 10pm ready to order my usual meal. The lovely young lady explained that I could only order by using the computer screens and she was not allowed to take my order verbally at the counter. I explained I was not confident using the modern methods (I am 63yrs old and not computer literate) and she kindly talked me through what to do. I was disappointed that there was no choice in how to order my food, indeed another lady of a similar age came in right behind me and said the same. I was informed that the staff had been told that they could only accept orders if customers used the screens. I do not understand why an order cannot be taken over the counter as your staff are so helpful and eager to please.
