We recently visited Fellini's Dolce Vita during a day trip.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the start, we felt we did not receive fair treatment. Despite arriving and placing our order before many other customers, we had to wait over an hour for our food, while every other table that arrived after us was served quickly and without exception. When I asked about the delay, I was told the food was prepared from scratch—which I can understand—but it was hard to accept this explanation when we could clearly see other tables receiving freshly cooked meals much earlier than us.

When the food finally arrived, it was undeniably fresh and delicious, which we appreciated. However, the service and treatment we received left a very unpleasant impression. Some of us felt that the attitude of the staff—particularly a male waiter—was dismissive and unwelcoming, as though he did not want to be there. Only at the very end, when we mentioned that we were taking our customers (who are vulnerable adults), on a day trip, did the staff change their attitude, apologize, and start being kind.

While we can acknowledge the quality of the food, it is deeply disappointing that respectful and fair treatment only came at the end. Every customer, regardless of background, deserves to be treated equally from the beginning. Our money and our time are just as valuable as anyone else’s.

What a lovely surprise. We came here Tuesday to celebrate my wife's birthday. My daughter booked this restaurant knowing what my feelings are regarding so called Italian restaurants in and around Leigh on sea. And being a trained chef and haveing some very poor experiences with so called Italian restaurants. I must say I was impressed from the moment we entered. To a lovely warm smile. Somebody takeing are coats and being seated at are table. The staff were very attentive. And helpful explaining the dishes to us. The food was very fresh and so tasty. The starters ie the meat balls were fabulous so tasty. Along with the spicey meat garlic bread and the selection of deep fried fish. ThumbsUp you have impressed me. The mains were very filling and very fresh my chicken Milanese was huge and tasty and my daughters pizza was large and fresh and tasty. While my wife had the Argentina prawns with pasta which she devoured. Desert was just as interesting and tasty. When I paid the bill. I asked the waitress if when paying the bill with a 15% service charge added did the staff actually receive it to which she said yes. That's good and nice to hear. So to sum up thank goodness there is a true Italian restaurant local to us. Food amazing. Service just as amazing. Ambience lovely did not feel rushed at any point.
