First Cup — Restaurant in England

It's one of my weekly regulars! !!

Wouldn't change it for anywhere else, and I'm constantly convincing all my friends, family, everyone to meet me there, if they can, during the daytime. It's so worth it!

I'll post another review with evidence, but I normally can't even wait to dig in!

So, the important bits - ☆ their portion sizes - are Incredibly generous!!, without compromising the , only the best! , quality they put in your plate. Honestly, if anything, they might add new things to little extra touches, a touch of avocado in the already proper side salad that comes with most dishes on the menu, which make it extra special on the already close to perfection combinations. 👌 And obviously the rest of the menu is all choices of urghhhh i want them all!

I think I pretty much have tried most of the menu, and now I have a quick takeaway regular, a morning regular, a brunch sit-down top 5s regular, a last minute before closing cheeky takeaway regular, you name it! I'm honestly really pleased there. They cover anything you might fancy during those hours. From sandwiches, paninis, breakfasts, jack pots, salads, iced or hot coffees with any alternatives, it's just very welcoming.

☆ The people that own it and manage it are truly gems, very kind and welcoming every time, very 'hardworking' in the sense that everything will work like a clock before they think to stop, and once you've got everything they're very neighbourly to be around, so really compliments the whole vibe of incredible food and pride on what you serve in your local coffee and snack corner. You can sit outside also if you enjoy a sunny day with a smoke and your coffee, but incredible also inside, and recently with refreshed look for the summer I suppose, is also super cute and cozy, yet can fit more people comfortably, no squeeze!

☆And Yes, the prices are VERY affordable. I won't call it cheap, because it doesn't ring well based on what it's arriving, the attention to detail, yeah much higher than the average out there so I'm very enthusiastic with the fact I am not at any rich place (yet) but I can still afford going regularly, order like a queen to take any snacks back home, yet that delicious that even if I wanted to save for the flavours, I still clean the plate everytime and I don't break the bank doing so that often! If I have to travel, I'd get two coffees from there for the way, lol, why to bother elsewhere when can't compete with the combo.

Honestly, it'll become a place you'll want to come again, and when you do, it'll be the same attention, speed, friendliness, quality and affordability that you've been met with each time!

I said I'll write a proper one when I'll upload some photos too, but I'm just getting ready to go there again before my work and I simply can't wait like always 😅🤭

After a stroll along Brighton seafront with my wife we were ready for a cup of tea and fish and chips. There are plenty of places to choose from but unfortunately we chose Ice Cafe. 2 cups of tea and one fish and chips cost £11.00, expensive but considering the location it was expected. The food though disappointed. A true my piece of fish, the smallest I've ever been served, had a nasty taste as if cooked in old cooking oil. The only way to eat it was to remove all of the batter and then the fish tasted not too bad but the taste of the first bite with batter stayed in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend, sorry. Hallumi burned, with burned pieces all over it. You would not eat it yourself. Eggs were cooked on a too hot pan causing top to remain unwarmed at all during the cooking process which is not cool at allllllll. Edit upon response: so, you clearly know nothing about how these coal like pieces are cancer causing agents and how the too dark spots are not supposed to be that way... I chucked all these.
