Frankie’s Café — Restaurant in England

As I visited Shrewsbury, this appeared to be a very popular cafe so I ordered a coffee - asking it to be nice and hot. The friendly barista agreed that was the way she liked it. I was advised to take a seat; I did. Then I waited and waited... When I asked a gentleman server when I would be served he said it was on its way - then he returned to tell me my order had been missed but he fetched it. When I ordered, I had a leisurely 20 minutes to sit and sip my hot coffee before getting the bus but now I'd need to go straight to the bus station. So I asked for a takeaway cup which was pleasantly provided. However when I tried to drink it on the way to the bus station, I realised it was lukewarm at best, as I took the first sip only yards from Frankie's but I didn't have time to return to ask for it to be warmed up or I would have missed the bus. The cafe was quite busy but that's no excuse for not making a hot coffee and serving it before it was nearly cold. ...

In search of a simple lunch and was very happy with our find. Staff were very polite and helped us understand what our options were.
