There is no argument when it comes to good coffee Gailās serves probably the best in the area, along with an array of pastries and fresh baked bread it is undoubtedly the best of them all, however time and time again Iāve come across one of their servers, I believe this to be the manager who is as miserable as it comes. Yes, I know it is tough to open so early in the morning, yes I know work is hard and one is probably not a peopleās person, but you are hired to do a job and when you are charging those prices and when you are giving a service you need to do it with a BIG smile on your face no matter what. It is a customer facing role and specially the first contact some commuters or early risers have first thing in the morning. I donāt want to be made feel guilty you are serving me, not do I care if there are two trays of pastries, I know what I want and Iām expecting it to be done in a friendly and pleasant manner. Very disappointed with my visit this morning I hope as a business you take these reviews and comments seriously and train all your staff accordingly. I have no complaints about the lady making the pastries she was very pleasant but you do need to do something about a person who clearly isnāt happy working there and sheās not afraid to make those feelings obvious to your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited Gailās Bakery in Gerrards Cross, which was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the heavenly aroma of freshly baked goods made me feel right at home.
The selection of pastries, bread, and cakes is incredible! Everything looked so tempting that it was hard to choose! I settled on a buttery almond croissant and a slice of their sourdough bread to take home. Both were perfection! The croissant was flaky, rich, and filled with just the right amount of sweetness, while the sourdough had a lovely crust with a soft, chewy interiorāgenuinely artisanal.
The coffee was just as impressiveāsmooth, aromatic, and expertly brewed. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft, making the experience even more enjoyable.
What stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and eager to help, making me feel valued as a customer. The atmosphere was cosy and vibrant, perfect for a relaxed breakfast, a quick coffee break, or a catch-up with friends.
Gailās Bakery in Gerrards Cross is a true gemāworth every visit! Whether youāre a bread lover or just craving a sweet treat, this place is a must-visit. Iāll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am writing this review to discourage anyone who wants to try this gailās branch in the Gerrards Cross region. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the level of basic human decency that the so called āmanagerā seems to have for her staff and customers. I walked to this bakery before school and whilst I was ordering saw the manager yelling extremely loudly at a young staff member in a bulshy almost comically angry way. I was shocked at this and felt extreme discomfort and sympathy for the staff member who looked to be extremely embarrassed. I cannot believe a superior team member could act like someone who resembles a prison guard, and this isnāt the only time an incident like this happened in this specific branch to other reviews. I no longer go to this bakery as the atmosphere seems very toxic due to the managers inability to speak to her staff members as basic human beings. I would strongly recommend people to not go to this bakery unless they want to witness a grown woman bellowing at her staff at 8 oāclock in the morning. It is known among people in Gerrards Cross to not go into this bakery if they see the manager indoors. This is such a shame as the general staff members...
