This restaurant offers an impressive dining experience with its outstanding decor and high-quality tableware. However, while it has much to commend, there are a few areas worth noting.

Starting with the food, the Takoyaki was well-made and delicious, though a minor issue surfaced with one piece of octopus being slightly overcooked. On the other hand, the Tonkotsu ramen was a highlight, boasting a rich and creamy broth that truly impressed the palate. The Tuna nigiri maintained the restaurant's commitment to freshness and aesthetic presentation, offering a delightful sushi experience.

In terms of beverages, the fresh pot of green tea with loose leaves delivered exceptional flavour and authenticity.

For dessert, the cheesecake, although slightly frozen in the middle, managed to win over taste buds with its delicious and refreshing qualities.

One aspect that truly shone at Ginza was the customer service. The friendly and efficient waitress ensured a pleasant dining experience, consistently clearing used plates and other tableware, contributing to a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.

In summary, Ginza's Japanese cuisine, coupled with its charming decor and quality tableware, offers a noteworthy dining experience. While there were minor hiccups with the Takoyaki and cheesecake, the Tonkotsu ramen, Tuna nigiri, and exceptional green tea certainly make this restaurant a destination worth considering for Japanese cuisine...

Have before good food, sushi, soups etc. Fast service, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere Now, Very disappointing experience this evening with Ginza, I had a table booked with my family for my birthday and unfortunately, we left without eating anything. Firstly we came in and waited to have our orders taken for 30min, usually, it is way quicker at Ginza, with max 15min wait. But recently the service got so much worse, it's not the first time we have had to wait for ages. Literally when we came in no staff acknowledged us or asked for drinks or anything. Even people who came in 20min after we had their orders taken right in front of us. It wasn’t that busy and there were three staff on the floor. I've seen Ginza way busier ( i come here regularly) and even then we would be served very quickly. The staff were more concerned about delivery drivers and takeaways than the customers sitting there and waiting. No respect for customers who come in to dine there. The priority should always be for customers physically have food in the restaurant. service for guys with massive backpacks and helmets should be in second place or then get more staff? Someone had to come to get the cutlery for themselves as the staff...

2nd time eaten take away from this place. 2nd time didn't clock that I was ordering, through deliveroo, from the same place as I had been so disappointed a year or 2 earlier.

Takeaway arrived after being thoroughly impressed by my 1st deliveroo experience. I was then hugely dissapointed to open up the cartons and smell and taste food that was poorly coordinated and quite clearly lacked any style or awareness of flavour.

I realised it was the same place when my squid was covered in the same mismatched and unfortunate tasting tartar sauce (?). This is the only place I've experienced such a poor tartar sauce and fried squid combination.

Tempura vegetables soggy and bland.

Crab sticks in entirely unpleasant tasking seafood noodle soup.

Actually angry I spent money for a 2nd time on a service/business that clearly has no regard for offering a high or even average standard in food.

If you have any compreneshion of what good food should taste like do not get sucked into handing any money to this establishment.

To the owner, make some effort please as you wont survive forever on Northampton's...

We ordered a takeaway from Ginza and honestly, it was one of the best sushi meals we’ve had in Northampton! Everything was super tasty and beautifully fresh — from the creamy avocado to the perfectly rolled sushi. The noodles, katsu, and tofu dishes were spot on, and the fried noodles were full of flavour. The miso soup deserves a special mention — it tasted so fresh, probably the best miso we’ve ever had! The fried tofu was also amazing, light yet crispy, and packed with flavour. The vegetable dumplings were a real highlight too — perfectly crispy on the outside, with a delicious, tasty filling inside. The edamame beans were fresh, simple, and exactly how they should be. As vegans, it can sometimes be tricky to find good options, but Ginza really delivered. The variety, freshness, and taste were all top notch. Without a doubt, one of the nicest vegan-friendly sushi meals you’ll find around here. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be ordering again!

Nice restaurant, quite friendly staff but not very attentive. First half of service was alright but the second half had to chase them for everything. Getting desserts, getting bill, paying bill, even though the restaurant was almost empty by that time. Nice presentation. Food wasn’t very authentic though, especially sushi. Heavily drenched in mayo to satisfy the standard English palate which was unfortunate as husband and I don’t like westernised Asian foods. Same with Unagi Don. Husband used to eat it growing up all the time and he couldn’t finish it because the sauce was way too sweet, nothing like the actual stuff. Clearly a popular choice with locals as it was very busy with takeaways. Not a good choice if you prefer authentic food though.

Be careful people if you order to take away. We wanted grilled tofu in dark, thick soy sauce like last time delicious. However, this time, the tofu was plain like on a photo, no soy sauce, generally not many vegan options and it is very difficult to be understood when placing an order. I was 3 times on the phone with the lady first time she said she is very busy, so she can't explain much, but my boyfriend said there was barely anybody when he arrived {6 minutes away in Northampton we are 😅} plus all the hassle for total £26.5, so my partner will eat this and I have to cook something because we do not want to go back. Very hungry and :(
