Gulshan Tandoori Restaurant — Restaurant in England

So disappointing it’s unreal. Used this place lots over the years. Both take away and sit down. Unfortunately this experience left us so annoyed that we will not be back. The food took over 2 hours to arrive. When it finally for arrive it’s was wrong. I called the restaurant to rectify this and they tried to palm me off and said we’ll make it right next time. No. Absolutely not. Someone has to go without a meal because you didn’t read to special notes?? Unacceptable. Not only that the food was nowhere even close to the standards they would usually provide. It’s was watery. Bland. And worst of all stone cold when it arrived. We had to reheat our dinner. Absolute joke. You may as well have just come round and stolen my money. I don’t know how you even had the cheek to send such cold shite to a customer. Tbh I wouldn’t have even paid for it if I had know what horror was hiding inside those delivery bags. Loyal costumers for 5 years at least. Lost. Definitely not happy with this restaurant. I ordered a mattar paneer. This dish is meant to be a blend of peas and paneer cubes in a tomato gravy.

What I received was a bunch of chick peas in a bright yellow gravy with mozzarella cheese mixed in.

When I called the restaurant thinking they’ve got my order wrong.

I was told that they cater to British people and not Asians and if I’m Indian I should’ve phoned to ask for something specific.

For a restaurant that has supposedly been running for 38 years to get something so fundamentally basic as a mattar paneer SO wrong is embarrassing. But more so; that the Indian/Pakistani restaurant as it is billed on JustEat, is catering to English people because “this is how they like...

We visited here on Monday 19th February for my sons 17th birthday , party of 5. Its a very nice old fashioned , family run restaurant with a nice menu. We all had the thali meal which was nice. We've read a lot of negative reviews with regards to the chicken being like rubber or dry , we can't agree with this on this occasion, but the lamb was cooked to perfection and was divine. The service was good and professional. The price is perfect as well not too expensive , I also liked that they didn't add a service charge on the bill it is down to you to leave that. A nice touch at the end was that each of the lady's in the party were given a rose . We will definitely come here again when we are in the area as we live...
