Gunslingers — Restaurant in England

Disappointing experience there tonight. Nice enough place and waiting staff but mum and I waited well over an hour for our food and when it came it was lukewarm. Was taken away and replacements never appeared. No explanation either. We had booked an early table as were going to the show at the Cliffs next door but in the end couldnt wait any longer and had to leave. As there was no sign of the waitress, had to knock on kitchen door and just gave staff there money for drinks we'd had. Saw quite a few staff in kitchen so.maybe it's just a lack of organisation between them and front of house. Table next to us also walked out and heard grumbles from other tables nearby. Ended up getting fish and chips from chip shop next door( which to their credit was delicious )but not really what I expected when I thought I was going out for a nice pre-theatre meal. That said will definitely try the restaurant attached to chip...

Gotta say it was our first time eating here and I have to say the staff were great and polite but unfortunately the food does not match the settings nor its price tag - I had the gunslingers burger and it came with a standard seeded bun not what it’s supposed to have - the burgers tasted like they were cooked in old fat and the overall meals were all below par - for the price tag I was expecting better - the food was basic to say the least - Only went here because I see some nice reviews but I was sadly very disappointed maybe the cook has changed or they have cut back due to bills getting higher but If your paying 17.95 for a burger you hope it tastes better then you can get from a...

Great theming, But food is more English cafe than authentic american bbq

Service was friendly and efficient

Ribs had a nice bark to them but lacked any sauce

Rest of the food was average at best Bbq beans were heinz, Onion rings far too greasy to enjoy, brisket was bland and smothered in a weird flavourless sauce Mac n cheese and coleslaw nothing special Loaded potato skins and chilli was a nice size but skins lacked any crunch and chilli was bland

Asked for bbq sauce to accompany and was given a bottle of heinz.....

Mistake on bill had another tables drinks added to our bill, but when we noticed it the difference...
