Absolutely Awful Experience - 0/10

Visited Heavenly Desserts around 10pm and it was anything but “heavenly.” The place was almost empty, with only two other tables occupied, yet the service was completely unacceptable. I waited over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged or seated. Eventually, I had to go up to the counter myself to ask if I could sit down. I was told to take a seat and that someone would come over with menus and take our order. That never happened.

After waiting another 10–15 minutes, I had to get up again and grab menus myself because no staff member came over. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy at all - so there was absolutely no excuse for the lack of attention.

No one ever came to take our order, so eventually I went to the till to place it myself. To top it off, I was even overcharged for the order. The food didn’t make up for any of it either. The waffle and crepe were cold, like they’d been sitting out for a while, not freshly made. The strawberries on the crepe were bitter, and the cheesecake was unpleasant. Nothing tasted fresh or enjoyable.

The staff were disinterested and completely unaccommodating throughout the visit. Staff spent their time talking to people they knew who were not even making an order, there was no effort or care. This was hands down one of the worst dessert experiences I’ve had. I won’t be returning and would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. You are better off going to Kaspas or Creams.

Peterborough's hidden gem. Myself and my friend popped in here on the hot sunny Friday afternoon last week. It was immaculate when we entered the restaurant. So clean and cool. A gentleman named Matthew showed us both to a booth and presented us with menus. He was so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much for him and he really made my friend and feel very special We ordered ice cream ( Original Italian Gelato) and it tasted like nectar from heaven. He also gave us a chance to taste other flavours before hand, which was great. None of the flavours disappointed us. I love the Banana and the Coconut particularly and they also do Sorbets which also looked delicious. Matthew asked before hand if we had any allergies or were Gluten intolerance. They also do Gluten free waffles. WELL WORTH a visit Beautifully clean, immaculately designed, EXCELLENT customer service. Prices are reasonable too. I found the ice cream wasn't too sweet and didn't taste artificial. Heavenly desserts also do cakes, tea and milkshakes. I will be making this my little treat and think you...

Excellent customer service from the individual Numan was nearing closing time and he went the extra mile for accommodating for me to eat in excellent individual.. should be getting a promotion with this hopeful. Keep it up Numan..

But there was another individual Angelica lady that was working on shift with him. She was stressing and can see on her face that she was in a rush to be getting home and was also stressing as other people and making faces. She threw the mop on the floor in anger as one customer left the door open. That is no way of acting regardless of the time. Customer should be treated with respect at all times. Hopefully she can get her act sorted

The cookie dough was amazing, the milkshake was not very good could have been so much better if it was thicker. It’s like watered down or they don’t know how to make the shake. Also asked for no cream they put in cream when I asked not to, thanks for the complimentary...
