Horrible, horrible service! We went for my work’s Christmas meal, which was supposed to be a celebration but left feeling disappointed. Once we had all arrived, we hadn’t even been welcomed, it took about 20 minutes for us to even be acknowledged so we could order drinks. It took an even further 20 minutes for them to be served and for us to be able to order food.

We decided to order our starters and mains in one go to save having to wait again, plus some of us even ordered a second drink to save time. The food arrived and that was the best part of the night, it was hot, delicious and plentiful. It took a little while for our starters to be cleared for us to have our mains, but it was after the mains that the problems got worse. We must have waited nearly an hour to be acknowledged, at which point one of our party had to leave. We had to try and get the attention of the staff to have her leftovers boxed up, no one came over to even check on our table. The staff were all over at the bar, chatting and completely ignoring us. When we were able to get someone over, we complained, saying we’d been waiting for quite some time and would like to order dessert for the rest of the table. We were handed menus then left alone yet again.

Finally we got our desserts after another round of waiting and overhearing that the kitchen was about to close, not that anyone had come to tell us, and moments later were handed the bill. We hadn’t even finished eating when we were asked, quite rudely, to pay as they were closing. We again complained that we had been left waiting for a long time for anyone to come over for anything and we hadn’t worked out the bill as one of us was still eating, to which the waitress barely apologised and said that they were “sorting stuff out” as she walked away. We were then met with the other two members of staff at the bar looking over at us, perhaps because of something the waitress had said or remarked.

Then the manager came over, which we complained once again about the lack of service, the rude waitress and the fact that we hadn’t even finished eating before being asked to pay. She was equally as rude, explaining that they needed to close down the system and not even acknowledging our other comments. We got together the cash to pay to only then be told that they are only accepting card. I commented that we had not been made aware of this and was told that if I booked online, it was on the booking page (it’s not, as the screenshot shows). Not only that, but it was not mentioned at all to us during our visit. No apology was offered for anything.

I visited you restaurant yesterday evening for my leaving meal with ten colleagues(30/08/2019) at 7:30pm in the evening (table was reserved for fifteen but unfortunately some staff had to drop out last minute). I would like to feed back our evening.

It was clear the restaurant was incredibly busy last night, the waiting staff never stood still and we waited until 9pm to get our main courses having sat at our table at 7.30pm- the waiters serving us were incredibly rude and "stroppy" when we had enquired (quite rightly) how long it would be until we were served. Whilst I acknowledge that the place was busy and we were told there were not many chefs working you do not realise that we had all worked ten hour shifts at the hospital as nursing staff and most of us had not eaten since 12pm on our lunch break- we were incredibly hungry and you can understand after 9hours without a meal we would start to ask how long until our food would arrive. The waitress when she brought our food slammed our plates on the table in front of us,when myself and my colleague were not sure if the pizzas she brought were for us she abruptly replied "well I am going to leave these here and you can decide if they are yours or not later" which I was appalled by and found to be incredibly rude.

It had also taken a long time for us to get our drinks at the start of the meal, had I simply been with my partner just two of us we would not have stayed I was shocked and disgusted with treatment myself and my colleagues received last night and dare say embarrassed for arranging the meal at your restaurant. I also have to ask why did you fill the restaurant if there were not enough staff on shift to cater to the needs of the customers? Again I recognise the pressure the staff who were on were under but it was service with a scowl from start to finish with very poor customer service from- we didn't pay the service charge but did leave a tip and the waitress came storming over demanding to see the original receipt.

Thankfully despite the terrible customer service we received the food was delicious.

Fantastic Experience at Prezzo Peterborough - Amazing Food, Cocktails & 5-Star Service from Monika!

We had such a lovely time dining at Prezzo in Peterborough. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, well-presented, and had a great vibe - ideal for a casual lunch/dinner or a special night out.

What truly made our visit memorable was the service from our waitress, Monika. She was absolutely brilliant - friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and she brought such a positive energy to our afternoon.

For our food, we ordered the Prezzo Burger and the Spaghetti Carbonara, with a side of Pancetta Mac & Cheese Bites - and everything was absolutely delicious. The burger was juicy and full of flavour, while the carbonara was creamy, rich, and beautifully cooked. The mac & cheese bites were a real standout - crispy on the outside, gooey and cheesy on the inside, with a lovely hit of salty pancetta.

To top it all off, we enjoyed some incredible cocktails. The Pornstar Martini and Lemon Drop Martini were both refreshing and well-balanced, but the Morello Cherry Sour stole the show - absolutely bursting with flavour and now a firm favourite! 🍒🍸
