Had such a lovely experience here with super friendly service and delicious carrot cake with cream!
We arrived and asked about gluten-free/coeliac-friendly options and one of the staff went through the menu with us very helpfully and clearly. It was only when we went up to order some coffee and cake did we realise they were meant to be closing for the day in about ten minutes (i.e. when we arrived and were seated earlier there was no fuss made about us showing up so near to closing time and we were made to feel very welcome)! Even though we were fine to leave and not be last-minute customers, they insisted on us staying (since they were going to be busy washing up from large groups of customers before us), which was really kind of them and made the place feel so personal and cosy. To top it off, when we did finish and were leaving, we had another lovely chat about the area and what kind of things we were looking to do, learning some history about the area and recommendations on where to go next - we felt so welcomed and really appreciate the kindness and warmth we received :)

If you find yourself in Ross and fancy some home-cooked fresh food at a very good price I would strongly recommend Jacquelineâs CafĂ©.
And donât forget, the profits at Starbucks and Costa go to the âfat catsâ whereas the small independence struggle to trade through these...
Read moreFour of us visited this place whilst on a visit to Ross on Wye. As we approached it on the street a staff member was just opening the door.. in we went and up the stairs.. the place obviously was empty, there was a bit of a sweaty smell to it but not something I hadn't smelled at clubs before.. we lined up at the bar to check the pulls and we all decided to try the dark fruits cider, there being little else to cause excitment.. at which the woman staff member switched off the pumps and pulls and said bottles only.. Three of us wanted a bottle of JD Tennessee Cider, but alas there was only the one bottle so there being little else I settled for a bottle of 'Hooch' a little odd going for an alcopop, but there really wasn't much selection at all. The lady staff member was pleasant and for the 20 minutes or so we were there it appeared we were going to be the only ones, so we left for pastures new. Strange place.. a club with no beer,...
