Seven Seas — Restaurant in England

Probably the worst fish and chip shop I've ever been to.

Firstly, it's really overpriced. Between two of us we spent £25 on two standard meals, fish and chips, one with gravy and one with curry sauce.

The food itself was not amazing, the fish batter is genuinely crunchy but that's about it.

The portion sizes for the chips were so small we could literally count them upon opening the meals, around 15 small chips each (this isn't a joke).

Scampi for the other meal was very mushy, poor quality and the salad served with it was going off as it was old and brown.

We had to sit down to recover from the shock of the price after we ordered our food and noticed they had tables inside, so we sat at one only to be told "Are you eating in? Because it's different prices eating in" - bit of a joke when you've just charged customers £25 for fish and chips. The gravy was bland and the curry sauce was the cheap rubbish you get from bad Chinese Takeaways.

The service was rubbish too, definitely not recommended, not value for money at all, few reviews...

I had the misfortune of going in this shop this evening as we are on holiday from Bristol. As I waited in the queue a young lady walked to the front of the queue and very politely asked for a fish which was missing from a previous visit by her Mom a few moments before. The Woman serving her became so rude asking for a receipt and , how much had she paid and the young girl who was still very polite told her Mom had not been given a receipt at this the Woman literally threw the wrapped piece of fish at her. The girl said well how rude are you and walked out. Needless to say considering this is how this shop deals with problems arising from their mistakes ,I for one will never return . This woman needs lessons in Customer Care or get another job where she’s not dealing with the public. If she is the owner she should be ashamed of herself and...

Having been here on several occasions before (ordering personally and for my local business) yesterday will be the last time! I ordered with a polite young lad yet mid ordering the middle aged lady with dark hair working on the till started interrupting him with abrupt questions about another order. She then loudly sighed at him despite him clearly just trying to finish serving me. While paying I took a quick 10 second phone call as I thought it might concern the order I had just placed. As I was hanging up I was waiting for a few seconds as assumed I might get a card receipt. Before I had chance to say anything the same woman rudely threw her arm up in the air gesturing outside and shouted ''You need to wait outside, Thank you!!'' (in a sarcastic tone). She was just so unnecessarily rude and clearly needs a lesson in...
