After struggling to find an open restaurant late on a Sunday night, we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a Nepalese restaurant. We started with the chilli garlic prawns and vegetable momos, followed by a mushroom curry for the main course. Every dish was bursting with flavor—the prawns, loaded with ginger and garlic, were a standout! It was my first time trying Nepalese cuisine, but it certainly won’t be my last. The service was impeccable. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. While the atmosphere is intimate and cozy, it adds to the charm, making it feel warm and inviting. If you're looking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Excellent excellent excellent! Being Indian I am always on the look out for momos in cold weather and this is a brilliant find and quite authentic! I loved the glas noodles and the daal bhaat. Not at all garlic overpowering which I find in many Bangladeshi restaurants or even Indian ones but perfect! I loved the fresh veg curry... Everything tastes fresh and not pre made. I loved the drawing on the bill by Prakash. Love the ambience and the food!!! However don't order the coconut lassi.but this is just finding something in a sack of goodness. I'm sure there are people who do love it !

We came for an evening meal as a couple. For a mid week night, it was pretty busy, but service was good and very friendly. We tried both types of dumplings to start, and chose typical Nepalese dishes for mains. We got to choose the hotness of our mains, and found them well-spiced, tasty and seemed healthy. The vegetable rice was a little disappointing as that was quite greasy, but the bread was a pleasant surprise, being a bit more like corn bread. The mango lassi was delicious (but very sweet) and there was a good choice of alcoholic drinks

Visiting Yaks & Yetis upon impulse, passing the restaurant whilst heading for a fish supper, we were the second customers on opening. Our hosts were extremely polite, advising us on menu choices, and sundries selection. The spiced chicken liver proved an excellent first course and my partner enjoyed her aloo chops. We both ordered boiled rice cooked to perfection, and me Alu Ra Chana went down very well. The Khursani (Chilli) Beef for my partner was tasty and satisfying, and not too spicy, as requested. Dessert came, beautifully presented and satisfying, banana in syrup, with cream and ice cream, and a fabulous pavlova with mixed fruit. We both enjoyed a lovely meal and will return to try more Nepalese food...
