Visiting Yaks & Yetis upon impulse, passing the restaurant whilst heading for a fish supper, we were the second customers on opening. Our hosts were extremely polite, advising us on menu choices, and sundries selection. The spiced chicken liver proved an excellent first course and my partner enjoyed her aloo chops. We both ordered boiled rice cooked to perfection, and me Alu Ra Chana went down very well. The Khursani (Chilli) Beef for my partner was tasty and satisfying, and not too spicy, as requested. Dessert came, beautifully presented and satisfying, banana in syrup, with cream and ice cream, and a fabulous pavlova with mixed fruit. We started with the chilli garlic prawns and vegetable momos, followed by a mushroom curry for the main course. I loved the glas noodles and the daal bhaat. Not at all garlic overpowering which I find in many Bangladeshi restaurants or even Indian ones but perfect! I loved the fresh veg curry...
