Food was good once we received it!!!!

The staff got our order wrong. We ordered for two. We received two drinks, two lots of bread and butter. One fish and chips. We highlighted this oversight and the young lady who delivered our short order told us the second fish and chips was imminent. We watched multiple people being served their meals, but no sign of our order. I approached the staff and asked politely where the second meal was? We were told it was on it's way. By this time the first plate of food is getting cold... I requested the waitress to take this plate of food away so that we could eat together as would be normal. When we did receive the second meal and the original first meal back. I asked why was one meal hot and the original only warm. I now asked for the first meal and the second meal to be taken away so that we could actually have two meals served together... That were hot....

There was no real apology for this poor service.

Eventually after an hour of waiting we received two meals together... Not a lot to ask for???

The fish and chips were good. The service was abysmal....

When I went to pay, I was offered no apology or discount for the errors and poor service. I asked for a discount and eventually after being made to wait for approximately 10 minutes. Permission for a discount had to be received from the owner/manager. We received 10%.

This was not a good experience. We shall not be using this establishment again....

Food good.... Service abysmal....

Think twice about having a sit down ordeal in this fish...

We came here in feb 2019 for our evening meal. Me & my husband had fish chips & mushy peas, the kids had small fish & chips,plus 4 pops. You come to bridlington you expect fresh tastey fish! What we all got was the worste fish we have ever had. The fish was tasteless,soggy & had hardly any batter on. The chips where nice but not enough & the peas where hard and very dark in colour, we suspected they had been made and sat since that morning. It was quite expencive once you had your pop charge on top & we had to wait 30 minutes for this disgusting food. Your probably thinking it was busy right? No, only two other tables in. We had a 20% discount card given to us buy our b&b, and a leaflet which also stated they do 20% off but when paying at the end the girl did not know knothing about this & went to ask the owner, she returned and said we dont do that this. No sorry, no explanation nothing. By far the worst fish & chips...

The food was okay at best, as a family of five we ate out for the day. Some of the food was good and can’t really complain where as other meals where cold and the batter from my fish and chips where falling apart, curry sauce was cold but other than that the food was alright. The staff though where very sour faced, not a smile in sight, when staff came to seat us, take our orders and take our empty plates they where closed off and came across as if they didn’t really care. Me and my partner ordered a tea pot to share and they gave us the tiniest pot of milk to go with it, when asking for more milk it made us feel as though we’d asked for the impossible. the staff definitely need some customer service training. coming from someone who’s worked in a chippy i would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but we will not be...
