good place to go on a saturday night in Bridlington, love going there around 9 at night for a couple of hours, when it starts to liven up a little, do get the younger generation in but you also get a lot of the older generation in which you don't see much of these days. They have music on and the videos are shown on screens around the place. They also show live sports at times.
The only moan i have is the trip to the loo for the women , you cant be in a rush, mens are downstairs just besides the DJs stand and bear in mind its a longish pub, women have to go to the far end where the DJ is, up 3 flights of stairs, along a corridor, although when you get there even though it can be busy downstairs its usually quite empty. Maybe as people cant be bothered to go all that way so wait till they go elsewhere i dont know,
ive been when its quite busy and never had to queue and its so peaceful when you get there and always clean, when ive been.
Usually have enough staff so you dont have to wait long to get served and have a good...
Read moreI have been going to this pub for the last 3 years probably 4-5 days a week. This evening for the first time I went to the bar to change my partner's pint of fosters. When the pint was first poured it was poured from one glass into another by the bar man who told me it was because the glass was warm. We went and sat down to enjoy our drink as per usual. My partner then said to me her drink tasted warm and flat. I took the drink back to the bar be changed thinking this wouldn't be a problem especially as they knew me well. I was confronted by Josh. He then went and poured tiny samples, one out of the pint I took back, one out of each pump and tasted them. This was was over the top like we were thieves or something? He was rude, wouldn't listen to me and wouldn't change it. I said just forget it and I won't be drinking in here again! For the price of 1 pint he has now lost his pub over 1,000 per year from us. Totally unprofessional in my...
Read moreWe were in Bridlington for a weeks holiday. We went to the Three Brass Monkeys for a drink for the first four days. My husband and I were meeting my parents in there and were walking to a table to sit down, as we were walking through we were shouted at by the fish wife behind the bar CAN I HELP YOU? I said we're meeting my parents here to which she replied OK then. She obviously thought we were (God forbid) using the toilets. In the end we left and told Mum and Dad we'd meet them at The Apollo instead which is by far a much friendly pub and you can actually see what you're drinking because they put the lights on in there. We won't be...
