King Johns Tavern — Restaurant in England

This used to be a nice pub with a great beer garden but it’s now turned into the town centre pub where all the drunks tend to sit from opening to closing along with more than a few of the towns “undesirables” because of the cheap draft beer on tap. After my last visit I felt I had to come back here to rate this place down from 5 to 2 stars!! In my opinion It’s become a go-to place for Hartlepool’s undesirables so nice people don’t expect anything more than an eye opener with an ok pint!! Cheap and cheerful bar with some ales and reasonable priced food, some of which is excellent.

Edit. My silly mistake, didn't register the New Era as I have had it and I was focused on looking for new beers. Definitely worth popping back in to check out the beers and I will again soon. Ye, back in today and three new beers in. Great rotation of beer selection. Doh.

It used to be a spoons bar , but got taken over by a local company , tbh I can't fault it ,yes its tired and the same same decor from the spoon's days , but it as the saying goes cheaper than chips .
