Mumbai At The Grand Hartlepool — Restaurant in England

Never in my life have i been to a place to whitness a manager who is a bad tempered bully, All he done was shout and screem at staff and kitchen staff at one point i got up to interveen because he was bullying his staff shouting and he even booting the ontray over there was food all over the floor, absolutely discusting behaviour infront of a packed out restaurant. He was even shouting from one end of the restaurant to get get drinks brought up, then screaming to his staff i told you not to answer that phone, who does this infront of customers The worst bit was customer came in bought a drink sat at the table in the bar before his meal because he wouldn't go and sit down to table before finishing his pint the manager shouted in his face and dragged him off the chair and frog marched him out the door that is an assault. Why have a bar in the waiting area if you cant have a pint? appauling behaviour his man wants stopping his agressive behaviour is worrying it was my first time in there and ceratinly my last time i was discustedin this mans behaviour I even approached the staff to see if they ok they said he is always like this we...

Really dissatisfied with my order. Ordered at 6.10 with an estimated delivery time of about 7pm. At 7.30 we had an update via the app to say that our order was out for delivery. When no order showed up and it was showing as delivered and as my order hadn't been delivered I phoned the restaurant, the first attempt I had the phone put down on me and then when I called back I was told my food hadn't even been made yet and that it must be justeats fault and was told it must be a problem with the app. I was then told my order wouldn't be out for delivery for at least another 20 minutes. It had already been nearly 2 hours at this point. Order eventually arrived at 8.15 only to find that the order was missing the chips and it wasn't even a big order. Phoned back again to be told that they were sorry but it would be another 40 minutes at least befor these would be delivered or could they discount the amount next time we ordered. Customer service was terrible and seemed to just blame the app, and then say we've been busy. Took over 2 hours to come and then have items missing is...

We came here for an evening meal after work as we were checking into the hotel. I was quite surprised how they are different entities so no food credit is forwarded if your work puts you up here.

Anyway, it has quite romantic vibes which felt a bit awkward being with a colleague! For starters, I asked for a couple of poppadoms, a crab pancake and for main a duck signature dishes with rice on the side. The service was very attentive taking our orders quickly.

The dips with the poppadoms were great but for £6 for x4 felt a bit too expensive ( weren't aware of the price when I was asked if we wanted it anyway)

The crab pancake starter for £7 had wonderful flavours and texture and the pomegranate added that extra element.

The sauce of my duck curry was very tangy but sweet but tasted great along with the tender duck
