Thai Garden Hereford — Restaurant in England

Please avoid this restaurant! The food was tasty but we all came back with food poisoning.The man serving us was strange and didn't smile at all during welcoming or ordering process. He also didn't really know how to handle my gluten free needs even though it was mentioned when we booked and before we arrived. The menu wasn't very clear when about allergies and intolerances which made ordering stressful. During out meal the chief came out to talk to us but she was in jeans and a very wooly jumper not proper cooking clothes. The walls had paint chipping off them and the corridor was dark going up the stairs to the toilet so we could easily have fallen. The kitchen itself looked poorly maintained and dingey.

Wonderful experience. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. A lot of the food we had were sweeter than expected but we should have asked questions beforehand. We had the mixed platter for two. Lovely. I had the Chicken Pad Thai No.84 which was lovely. I supported that with their special fried rice. Too much food but delicious. Husband had the fish in batter No.65 cooked so well but it was too sweet for him. We had chips but wasn't needed. We always do that as a just in case lol We think value for money. I have a few allergens and everything was made tailored to my needs. I'm coeliac, vegan and have an intolerance to soy along with peppers! This was no problem at all for the chef. Tasted amazing would highly recommend! Owner was very polite and caring listening to and remembering exactly what I was unable to eat. My husband is vegan but can eat soy which made the order challenging but every single thing ordered was perfect. We had green Thai curry, red Thai curry, pad Thai and coconut rice. Absolutely...
