A welcome treat off Peascod Street I came to visit Windsor Castle, had some extra time. and decided to walk around the local area. I am glad that I did since I found Peascod Street. This is a lovely street, covered in cobblestones, directly down the hill from the castle. There is only foot traffic on this street which is pleasant as it is fairly wide leaving plenty of room to walk and windowshop. The street is lined with all kinds of shops from food to clothing. We fought our way into Krispy Kreme after the fly past to get coffee and a snack. Well done for marking the event with a specially designed doughnut. The most praise has to go to the staff, though, on what must have been an extremely busy day. It was very busy on arrival but we managed to get a seat and the coffee and doughnuts were great. Thank you to the team at Windor...
