Lakes Homecentre Coffee House — Restaurant in England

Ask about allergies when you order but nothing available - can’t even spell gluten on the bill! As the coeliac (what’s that?) I had scrambled eggs - which were nice but nothing offered to go with them. As usual my coffee was brought with a biscuit full of gluten! My daughter & granddaughter ordered pancakes with bacon - 15 minutes after I’d eaten my eggs, their pancakes arrived but with fruit, not bacon, the lady who changed them did apologise for that mistake! Other people who came in after us had their food orders before our pancakes. We were the 3rd group in at 9.30 am (the others already being served) so it’s not as if they were busy. A reasonably priced cafe attached to The Lakes Homecentre. A good range of hot and cold food is available along with a wide range of cakes and tray bakes. Everything is made fresh to order. Missed breakfast baps. Limited hot food menu unless you want chips smothered in crap. So opted for the special sweet chilli chicken wrap but think they forgot to add the sweet chilli as it tasted of nothing. Neither of us finished the wrap and just ate the side salad.
