Absolutely incredible!!! ⭐ My family (5 of us) went for my uni graduation celebration and took full advantage of the 2-4-1 burger deal on Thursdays. I particularly picked this place because of the huuuuge vegan/vegetarian options - they do a V option of literally every burger on the menu! 4 of us ate V and we particularly liked the Westbourne rodeo (which had all sorts in it - meat free chicken and pepperoni, chilli/pineapple jam, onion rings...), the Korean burger (gochugang sauce, kimchi slaw...), the blue monday (blue cheese sauce, delicious sliced mushroom, beefy patty), and the BBQ honey one. Burgers came with fries which we upgraded to fancy ones aswell - the V parmesan ones were bloody great. The service was excellent quality too. The waitress kept track of our order with ease, and she even got me a graduation cocktail on the house 🎓🍹 drinks prices were very good for 2022, I think £4 for a pint of beer. The atmosphere was really lively and vibey, lovely cosy decoration and lighting. To top it off, my family of vape-enthusiasts were chuffed to be able to vape inside (but bar staff said heavy duty fat cloud vapes are a no).

Went here today for the first time really excited to try the food because we've seen such good reviews of this place and wanted to try something different. We asked for two lemonades and a lime soda, lemonades came out and then a couple of minuets later (no problem with how long the drinks took, was a normal amount of time) one of the staff bought out another lemonade and lime soda, we said politely that we had ordered only a lime soda and not the lemonade, she put the drink on the table and walked off before we had a chance to ask what drink was on the table, she went over to the bar and was quite obviously rude about the situation, my friend went over and asked if the drink she had given us was the lime soda or the lemonade as we had ordered the soda not the lemonade and she was very rude to my friend. We frankly felt a bit embarrassed, we just wanted a nice girls night out with good food but never got to try the food because after that we paid for our drinks and left. All the other staff were very polite but we don't expect to be treated like that, we weren't rude and we shouldn't have been treated rudely. We’d heard good things about this place so thought we’d try it, coming from Christchurch. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed! It was shocking. Vegetarian burger not as advertised (fry thin burger) and definitely not a moving mountain or beyond meat burger as stated as I’ve eaten these many times before so I know exactly what they look like. My eldest ordered a haloumi salad with pomegranate, it arrived without the pomegranate and little haloumi that was cold and hard. The waitress dropped half of my other daughter’s dinner - chips on the floor, and the halloumi side order we ordered came out once we had finished. We are foodies and this for us had to be the worst of the bunch! Luckily Westbourne has so much more to offer, so please go to the Duck or the lazy Fox - 💯 so much better, decent food & service....
