Was recommended this restaurant by a friend. There are some great Italian restaurants in the area so I was looking forward to eating here, but was expecting the same local standard. This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve dined at. To start, the service is absolutely fantastic. The staff are humorous and so attentive. Then when it comes to the food, top class. As a table we had mostly menu items for starters and they were exceptional. Sometimes it’s actually frustrating when the starters are so good because you know you’re filling all the space in your stomach. For the mains we mainly had dishes off the special board. These dishes were so good incredibly fresh and it became obvious that these dishes changed daily. The flavours of all the dishes could potentially be Michelin level. Absolutely great experience from start to finish. Looking at the reviews we thought we'd try this place out. We came in without a reservation near the end of a Sunday evening, and were made to feel very welcome. We ordered drinks, the calamari starter to share and two mains of Saltimbocca and Fusilloti with mushrooms, truffle and venison. Wow... Wow..wow!!!! Absolutely phenomenal and delicious. The portions were so generous so it's great value for money. We are really into our Italian food and travel there frequently and safe to say this place has set the bar high. The staff were really attentive and friendly and gave us info about the specials. They were attentive without ever being intrusive. The place felt welcoming and cosy and the music was great.
