Dear Sir/ Madam I would like to make a complaint regarding the poor service I have received in the last 2 times I've ordered pizza from Caprinos Newbury. I have place an order for delivery and its fair to say I was happy to wait 42 min for the delivery. Because of the bad experience I've had the previous time I've called after 25 min to check if the delivery will be on time and was assured that will be with me in 15 min. When the delivery was not with me after 15 min I have waited 15 more min and called the shop. I have explained that it's been an hour since my order and it's not the first time when I have to wait more than 1 hour to get my order, the gentleman that has answered the phone , did not like the fact that I complained about this and ended the call. The food has arrived a few min later but was not hot anymore and just warm . They gave us the wrong order and tried to get us to trade the food we received with our fresh order, to give to the right people. I was shouted at over the phone by someone for stressing how irresponsible it is to do that during a pandemic and expressing that I would not be happy receiving food after it has been potentially touched by someone else. I didn’t care about keeping the food, I just wanted fresh food in the knowledge no one else was receiving potentially contaminated food. They do not care for their customers safety and will do anything to cut corners. If you don’t receive the right order or yours is very late, bear this in mind. Unfortunately I got a phone call last night from a gentlemen named Sayid,who apologized and told me to let them make it right by ... spending my money there again ... this time with 50% discount; so "we messed up but can you spend another 10 £ and we'll take care of the other 10£"-my order was over 20£.
