Lighthouse continental cafe bar — Restaurant in England

The food here is AMAZING and the service even better…ate here with my family which included my daughter and disabled mother in law, the waitress was so attentive to my mother in laws needs, nothing was to much trouble, and we didn’t even have to ask when we needed her drinks put in her special cup, or a spoon instead of a fork to eat her meal, she just knew what we needed and fetched them over, the waitress and the chef were both chatty, and happy throught, the chef even gave my daughter a bag of 2p’s for the amusements that made her day, had the nicest experience of any cafe I’ve ever attended with my mother in law, and I thank you both for making what can sometimes be a very trying time when you have someone with a disability to look after feel like a very chilled enjoyable evening, if holidaying here again we will 100% be back!!! And if anybody ever tells me they are visiting torquey you will be highly recommended. Thank you both so much...

Well I decided to bring my hoomans here for a pit stop as it looked lovely from outside. As soon as I entered the staff must have mistaken me for Prince Louis by mistake as I got made a fuss of, a dog bed brought to the table , a bowl of water and a gravy bone treat!

Mama and Dad were people watching from comfy seats by the window overlooking the harbour. They had lattes (whatever they are) and said they were lovely. Dad had his first ever Crab sandwich, as the Crab had apparantly just come in before us ( guess they don't like crabs ? ) and he really enjoyed it.

They definitely love dogs here as I got given 2 more gravy bones and some pieces of chicken, plus there were some other doggies for me to sniff!

I would certainly bring them back here again. Thanks for a lovely visit. Louis...

During a recent day trip to Torquay in May, my wife, our small dog, and I were searching for a nice dog-friendly place to have lunch. We decided to try the Lighthouse Continental Café Bar, and we were so glad we did!

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and friendly welcome. It was a hot day, so we chose to eat outside. Our dog was promptly given a rug to sit on, and it wasn't long before she received a bowl of water and some treats. What a fantastic start!

The food and drinks we ordered arrived promptly and were of excellent quality. The prices were also quite reasonable.

In conclusion, we had a first-class experience and we are happy to recommend The Lighthouse Continental Cafe Bar we will certainly make a beeline here on...
