UPDATE BELOW..... ORIGINAL: Be very careful! We ordered “hot” waffles and “hot” cookie dough with a couple of milkshakes through Just Eat (over £30). We waited and waited and waited, the due time passed and the app said the order had already been delivered...
So I called the shop, the woman on the phone couldn’t locate our order firstly, then started to get angry with some profanity as clearly calling to find out where my “delivered” order was an inconvenience to them. Eventually I got an answer the order had been delivered, which I kindly explained, well obviously not to us, that’s why I was calling. After some deliberation, I was told that our order had been delivered to wrong house?!? The woman on the phone then said she would reach out to the driver and get back to us.
Another 20 minutes had passed (order 30 minutes overdue now), they hadn’t called me back, so I called again to ask where my order was. This time the same woman on the phone sounded completely inconvenienced by my order once again, deciding she didn’t have the patience to deal with their drivers incompetence she passed me onto her manager, who first apologised and then said as they’ve delivered to wrong location, then would have to cancel our order and refund.... I agreed to this and we ended the call.
Minutes later the driver arrives with our “desserts” (1 hour late, 2 and half hours after ordering) obviously by now I knew they would be no good, but I had a look anyway and as expected the “hot” desserts were cold and hard, the ice cream was now liquid and no one enjoys a warm milkshake now do they.
Goodness knows where our order had been or why it got delivered to us like this, unexpectedly now the manager called us back, saying he just spoke to the driver and that our order had been delivered and completely changed his story claiming now the driver was just late and it hadn’t been delivered to the wrong house after all. I said we had already agreed on a refund and to cancel the order and asked him why they delivered this order in such state, he said it would be fine but they could offer a £10 voucher off our next order... wow are you kidding me? I asked him would he order from the Little Dessert Shop again after receiving this service, I think he saw my point.
We agreed they would come and collect the inedible order and refund me. So I waited another 30 minutes for the driver to come, still nothing, I called them back and the manager instructed me to leave my inedible order our on my doorstep and the driver should be there soon... eventually after another hour or so later, the same driver came and picked it up.
So now, you’d expect that I got refunded right as promised? NO, I’ve chased JustEat and LittleDessertShop and they’ve told me they are investigating and will be back to me within 48 hours of the order (it’s been 5 days now), clearly this investigation is not being worked on.
In short, even after this nightmare and they collected the order back from us, I’ve still paid for something we never got to eat at all as it was returned and no good! Please be so careful when ordering from the Little Dessert Shop, so you don’t become a victim of this nightmare, it’s just not worth it.
UPDATE: I made a complaint as the Little Dessert shop requested, 11 days have passed and they have chosen to still not respond. It seems this company chose to ignore it's customers who they owe a refund too, I will have to take it up with my bank...

Read moreCalled to place an order over the phone and was met by an incredibly disinterested and unhelpful man saying that I cannot place over the phone and only by online. I explained that your website wasn't working for me and he didn't care at all. I ended up googling to see if I had an issue with my laptop or if I could change anything on the settings of the website with no luck. Looked on the T&C's to see if there was an explanation as to why it wasn't working for me and I saw this!!

Please make your staff aware of this rule and I HATE complaining normally but I work in a customer service role myself and when I am met with someone who just doesn't care it really bugs me as it gives other staff a bad name!
