I’ve waited until I’ve eaten here 3 times to leave a review. It is a lovely little takeaway and the staff are always friendly with a smile on their faces.

I must admit, I ordered the same thing 3 times, with different fillings. A chicken/pork/mixed gyro wrap (not box) and each time they’ve been spot on. (The pork is better than the chicken)

£7 is a fair price and so long as you’re not a twenty stoner, this should be a filling meal! The pita bread is uniquely tasty, light and fluffy, the tzatziki is delicious aaaaand they put a few fries in with the wrap which is a nice bonus!

This place makes the best gyros I’ve had in the UK and reminds me of the real deal when I visited Greece.

Well worth a try!

Update - September 23 - they’re portions of meat in a box is spot on. It costs £13 and it’s a huge meal for one or a decent meal for 2 to share. Again, you can chose from chicken, pork or mixed and it comes in a big box with pitta, salad, fries and a rub of sauce.

Do not order from this place! We have just had a delivery that my son ordered for a mother's day treat. The order was wrong so he rang back straight away, he explained to the woman who answered that it was wrong and she called him a liar and put the phone down! He rang back and she did the same thing! I rang and asked to speak to a Manager and the call was immediately disconnected! I tried to call back at least six times and the call was cut each time! Eventually a woman answered but she would not accept the order was wrong and said we had probably eaten it!!! - it had only just been delivered! - I even offered to take a photo and send it! She put the phone down yet again and I rang straight back, did not say anything other than 'we can refund or send another order' - I said we wanted the order we had paid for to which she replied it would be very late as they are very busy! I disconnected the phone at that point - I have never come across such appalling customer service and such rudeness - we will never order...

We haven't eaten much Greek food before and have never had a Greek Takeaway, but our son told us about Mama's and said he'd enjoyed it, so we decided to try it for ourselves. When we collected the order, the staff were friendly and the place seemed very clean. The smell in the car on the drive home was mouthwatering. My wife had the Halloumi wrap and I had the Mixed Souvlaki Portion. We also shared a Rainbow Salad and Baklava. We probably didn't need to order the last two as there was plenty to eat - it provided tea and some left over for supper, and was really enjoyable.
