Marhaba Indian Restaurant (Hyderabadi Halal Restaurant) — Restaurant in England

Dont get me wrong i was the one who use to eat from here atleast 3times a week and its not just a bluff i can even prove on my bank Statement

What went wrong- for me in person i like hygiene least i could expect my food handlers to wash there hands but no the lady was mixing some sauces while tapping the bell she came this the same hands which she was using to mix the thing what ever she was mixing. No washing of hands I can clearly see that red sticky substance on her hand and she touched the food box i was like eww and she Added onions using her one Hand. But the second ewww starts here the other lady who was in kitchen she was mixing the Rice in that Hena bucket while looking at her what she is doing she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand and started doing what she was doing. Look i dont know how common this gets practice on daily basis but this thing is not acceptable i do agree there is heat but there is a tissue as well there is Sink as well. From then till about 2/3 months i was like i wont be going back but again i thought its too early to judge mistakes happens

I placed an order for collection again Too my surprise the same lady came out from the kitchen holding a piece of 65 ate in front of me and started packing my food it wasn’t ok but fine ignore this she opened my biryani box with her same hand she added onions and i believe thats the last time i trusted and wont be coming back

Not really fan of writing reviews but this is not ok i dont know if the closing of your restaurant for couple of months was because of hygiene issues but it was mentioned on teesside news pages that it was closed for hygiene and safety purposes still i didn’t care because i was like its my Guy restaurant n he has full support but by seeing this with my opened eyes i think you should consider your staff and hygiene issues its just the hygiene part i have mentioned leave about how they speak on call most of the time.

I am really sorry for writing this but yes it wasn’t a good experience after seeing that i was like have i ate the past biryanis with this hygiene precautions.

I understand it is frustrating and stressful to see 1star rating for your restaurant. But I'll explain everything why I gave 1star. As restaurant responded even without me speaking. Let me put it into words in first place( 2nd ). I have order Chicken 65 biryani, Marhaba Spl Dum Biryani ( compli. Chicken 65 received free of cost) and Mango Lassie. Let's speak about quality and taste of food received. Packaging ( never seen any restaurant packing food to the level of overflow), which raised my concern about food package damage and food spilling ( I couldn't add that image as I raised complaint through Ubereats app which asked to upload image directly by clicking. So couldn't save image) Food - one of the worst Chicken 65 n Chicken 65 Biryani presentation and taste ( whatever the sauces they added it was dripping out from a cooked chicken 65 and squishy texture all the way for each n every piece). I didn't try Marhaba Spl Biryani by the time I posted this review/rating. I will update it once I taste it.

Marhaba Customer service (phone call) - whatever they written for this review is true. They came up and asked me whether I need a biryani as complimentary. But my concern is why didnt you take care it in first place. And moreover I raised concern complaint regarding packaging(which is not a right kind for hot food (atleast for pre deliveryheated food 🤭) and food quality also. 😅. And lastly, why would I take a complimentary biryani if I doesn't like it all. No hard feelings 🫡. I have previously ordered from Marhaba it was good back then. Just improve food deliveries packaging and atleast check food quality when you got a concern from customer and then respond to reviews. AND I can give 5star rating to the one handled my issues and offered a resolution...

We recently had briyani , one dum briyani and chicken 65 briyani, the quantity is okay , but I worried about the quality of chicken which they gave as chicken 65 , chicken peices are in brown colour and goey texture , taste okay for briyani but not happy with the chicken they provided , asked a person over there no proper answer and said chicken is cooked with blood that's why colour is like that , if that is answer they must have washed properly and cooked , if fresh chicken then why the colur is brown ? seriously not happy with the answer and no proper dine in set up to eat , no hand-wash area and bathroom, which should be need of upgrade and they have to look and check quality of chicken before giving to customers and really unhappy as a working girl in restaurant reheats briyani on microwave which show it is not...
