I had the Islander perfectly grilled chicken, freshest of ingredients and perfect seasoning.

The lamb joint was a showstopper, slow-cooked to perfection, juicy, and falling off the bone. The richness of the lamb was balanced beautifully with subtle spices and creamy mash and vegetables.

Anorher of our party went for the Creamy Chicken – comforting and luxurious. The sauce was velvety and flavorful, coating every bite of tender chicken in pure indulgence. It paired wonderfully with rice.

And finally, our youngest had the Turkish meatballs. These were bursting with flavor — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right. Each bite had that signature Turkish blend of herbs and spices that makes you go back for more.

Even though the restaurant decor is exceptional really great atmosphere the food really lets it down. Had the falfel for starters small flat and dry. I had to ask for sauces which in mind cost 4 pounds each for chilli and garlic which is shocking. Then having the wrap which was okay nothing special stuffed more with large pieces of peppers and mushroom then meat but was filling. My mate had the lamb which was in gravy which was quite small for him we asked for extra bread which again is extra another 4 quid. For the amount the we ate 65 quid with one drink this for me is quite excessive for what you get and I am from London. Otherwise the service is good...

Amazing tasty food and lovely staff. Unfortunately I was too excited at how good the food was I forgot to get the waitress name. I had creamy chicken which was beautiful and tender with a sauce full of flavour. Not the insipid creamy sauce you sometimes get in Italians. My husband had moussaka. This also was luscious and full of flavour. Lovely rice too. The waitress was friendly professional and really canny. As was the lady at the counter. We enjoyed it so much we’re trying to work out how to fit another visit in on our wedding anniversary before we go back home to Newcastle tomorrow. But if not we’ll definitely return on...
