Longest wait I've ever had in a fast food place. The students who take 20 minutes standing at the self order points, staring at it slowly deciding what they want didn't help. Both times I went in, same thing. If i worked there id of asked them to look at the wall menu till decided, as they are holding everyone up too long to the point its congesting the shop floor! Which it was. They were beyond rude and every single self order point was taken up by one doing the same thing and they were all aware lots of people were waiting to use them. Gave up and placed the order at the front both times I went in and had to wait what felt like an eternity to get the food. Ironically, the rudest one who i waited behind to use the machine a good 5 minutes untill deciding to order from the till, i clocked him tale 10 minutes while i was waiting (his female friend was doing the same at the other one! Didnt go through it together and at least free up a machine, oh no, thats being considerate) go through everything on the menu several times then decide what they wanted, go to stand amongst the waiting crowd for 5 minutes and then got their food before me! Knife twist or what. I only ordered my son chips and a 99p cheeseburger (or should i say £1.19 cheeseburger now. Not got the same ring to it, has it?). The place was just full of bored waiting customers. Worst McDonald's I've ever been in. And I regret to this day that I didn't tap that student on the shoulder and say "MOVE, TIMES UP YOU...

The cleaning / queue management staff are the real heroes.
Many a time I’ve asked for the management staff to stop staring at me when I’ve done an order as they’re running time trials, look at the screen, there is a timer on there, stop making us feel uncomfortable or like we’ve done something wrong.
The restaurant itself is normally tidy, understandably depending on what time of day or time of year, such as the summer with students, it will be a little messy but that’s also down to people not bothering to be considerate and clean up their own mess into the recycling bins dotted around the place. This restaurant has been upgraded to include the new touch menu POS which is fine to use unless you have something such as a student card or voucher, so during McDonalds monopoly they’re rendered useless.
One thing that does tick myself, and nearly everyone else off, is the stupid company policy to read the food items out when the order is ready rather than the number, or the food then the number, just shout the number first, then the food if you must, we all understand it makes for a more personal touch, but when you’ve got 4 people darting towards you because they all ordered the special burger it’s rather annoying for...
Read moreWhere can I start with this horrendous place, ordered food on the automated screens thats the most impressive part of the place. So they call it fast food, not here, after watching members of the team, thats a joke to call staff a team bumbing around getting all the orders messed up, having teeth pulled without anesthetic would be less excruciating than watching this lots trying to put an order together. After a good 20 minutes finally I get our order, only to find my wife's burger stone cold , mainly because the salad and gurkins felt like they had come out of a freezer, daughters chicken wrap looked like it had been though 10 rounds with a boxer, had that much bbq sauce, it tasted awful, my fanta had gone flat because the order had taken so long. Now let's talk about the shift manager, couldn't manager to fold a knapkin, when I went back to complain told me he was to busy!! The girl on the till sort of solved the issue but parts of the order then missing. My biggest problem is serving luke warm food not upto the nsf guidelines and illegal. Complained on there app and got an automated reply!!with didn't solve the problem. If it could be a minus score it would. I'm not one to complain, but I felt have to put this up stay away from this...
