Dissapointing. Drive through, ordered food and drinks, drove round to the pay window, paid, next window, our capucino got mixed up to a large diet cola! Asked to park in the grill bay while we wait for the correct drinks to be sorted. Waited for some time 15 minuets to be exact, then a young girl bought our food, no drinks at all this time. She left the food and went back for the drinks, waited anothe 6 ninuerts, again a large diet cola, not a capucino. "But it says on the receipt".......... "I know what it says on the receipt and I know what I ordered, that is why we are waiting here for our drinks to be correct", by now our food is getting cold. I'll get the manager says the girl, that'll be great, I reply. We wait again for our capuccino, and the same girl (no manager) returns with another coffee, handed it over rudely , no appology for the incorrect order, and before we could ask again where the napkins and sauces were that we asked for, she stormed off. We left. Our order included chicken nuggets, curry sauce, "what sauce would you like with that"., was the question when ordering, ordered curry sauce. No curry sauce, or even any napkins. infact no sauce at all! She took the recipt too so no way to rectify it properly, Really dissapointed, don't often have Mcdonalds, but had been working hard redecorating a house, left rather late and thought we'd collect some food on route home. Read moreOrdered via McDelivery, order arrived early by 5mins, however the was an item missing, had to make contact via app, took 25 mins to get through, informed McDs customer service of item missing, was TOLD that I would be refunded the cost of item missing, and would take up to 15 days, I respectfully informed them that this was unacceptable, due to that I had also paid for a service that had not been completed, £3.45 to complete my order, also unacceptable, customer service were taking too long to reply and cutting me down while I was replying, TELLING me that case was closed, case is not close, this is not a tick box exercise, once I had checked emails, I had one from McDs informing me that a refund had been issued, but is 1/3 of the price of the missing item. Next morning I visit the restaurant in Strood to speak to the manager, who was no help what so ever, he offered to replace the item there & then, 13hours after it was requested, I refused, as it was unacceptable, he replied with “I don’t know what you want”, requesting an email address to make formal complaint about his restaurant, but would only give me McDs web address, what a cop out, big corporate companies like McDs make it very difficult to make a complaint and have no desire to deal with wronged customers. Read moreWe queued for a long time at McDonald's in strood which is understandable with the current pandemic, our issue was they took our order we drove the the collection window to collect our food,we always check our order before leaving the window, which we did as always to find 4 burgers missing so we mentioned the missing items to which the manager was very rude and stated well you must have not ordered them , to which point my husband stated we did because it came up on the screen when we was ordering!! He then proceeded to say well sorry there's nothing I can do about it you will have to go round and queue again!!! So my husband said and whilst were queuing again the rest of the food goes cold? To which the manager shrugged his shoulders... Very annoyed with his lake of understanding especially as these burgers were for children the whole reason we went to McDonald's in the first place... Absolutely disgusting customer service and very rude do yourself a favour and use...
