Wow, just an amazing place. Clean, the staff are so friendly, and so accommodating. I had a flat white coffee, and i swear, it was the best coffee I have ever had in my life. Both me and my partner had a baguette, both different, but we tried half of each others, and we were amazed at how fresh and tasty everything was, we could tell that the baguette was fresh, the fillings were fresh, the salad was crisp, just 100% perfect. There is nothing I could say to fault this place, Highly Highly Recommended. 10 out of 5 stars from me, and I look forward to going back there to try more food from the amazing menu they offer. I've been to loads of cafés before, and eaten so lovely food, but this knocks them all out of the water. I want to say Thank you to the Barister, the Chef, and the very polite owner, I can't express how much I appreciated being a customer in your establishment, totally the best place I have ever eaten, and it was all quality. Brilliant cafe. I have recently changed from M&S cafe at the retail park as I was fed up of standing there for ages waiting to be served and getting attitude from the staff. Now I go to Friends cafe on my own during the week and with kids/hubby if we are going to Aldi at the weekend. Family run business. The manager is lovely and friendly, so are all the staff. Food is very quick, large portions, spotless and clean. Some of the reviews here are knocking off a star saying 'too noisy'. How ridiculous. Customers are chatting because they are happy to be there and the staff make them feel welcome and chat - would you rather it was full of Victor Meldrews all sitting in comotose silence? I popped in here while our car was getting new tyres fitted. I meant to have a coffee but I was hungry so why not eat, I thought. I got set breakfast 1. It was all perfectly prepared and very tasty. The flat white and espresso coffees I had were excellent too.

The vibe was definitely friendly and very welcoming. I was alone but there were various friends meeting up for coffees, food, and a chat. This place is perfectly named.
