24/11/2023: Poor service again this afternoon! Food order was taken at the Drive Thru, payment for £20.37 was taken but we were asked to go and wait in parking bay 3. When it arrived, the chips were warm, there were no dips, no serviettes and the milkshake had no straw plus the hot chocolate tasted of just sugar! It took several attempts to get through and the manager didn't seem concerned when I told her that I was going to write another poor review, so here it is, I guess! Oct 2023: My friend and I were in the area last week Friday/Sat and we decided to see if things had changed there. Well, the team (comprising of 2 or 3 young, smartly dressed girls) there on that day, were absolutely brilliant! The food order was taken swiftly, paid for at the first window and served - all hot at the next. That particular Drive Thru Team were great, so they are the ones who make the original scores go up.
(Two weeks prior)It was a preferred place for us prior to today's visit, which has put us off for good! Order taken at window, then we were asked to go and wait in the parking lot, then after 15 minutes, handed the wrong order, then argued with, as it was our fault the order was wrong, then given cold food, after being promised that it would be re-done, which I then had to walk back to return and complain about! Then after 'Manager' comes out to debate with me some more, told that nothing was wrong, when I told him that the place used to have great service and food but today something was terribly wrong! Then told it was their fault when I insisted that they had given us the wrong order and showed him the receipt and was then handed a handwritten code for free food! Never going there again! Another customer complained about their tray of food as well, in the same time-frame. It was like a marketplace with loads of people walking around, mopping floor during food prepping, standing and speaking over food in a language which was not English! Read moreI came to order my food, paid and collected. When I got home I have noticed the 2 large fries were missing, so I had to drove back as no one answered the phone. I have initially called them.
When I got back, I went to the window and explained to the gentleman over there that the fries were missing, my food is now cold and I had to do a 15 minutes trip to the branch, and another 15 minutes to get back to my house. He asked me to go over to the next window so we can discuss. I have asked for new warm sandwiches and the 2 large fries that were missing plus the refund on the food as I had to drive back. He replied saying the refund is not possible as I cannot have the free food and the refund. He said he can give me the fries, refund and offered me some dessert. I didn’t wanted the dessert at that specific time and I have explained it was not my fault that I had to do a 30 minutes trip because the fries were not put in the bag initially. The fuel I have consumed is not worth £3.38 equivalent to 2 large fries that he offered me to refund. I do understand the fact that I have to pay for my food, and I didn’t want free food, but at least something to cover the fuel. This is not acceptable and I am very disappointed with the customer service, when is not my fault the staff forgotten to add the fries in the bag it is also not my fault I have to do another trip and it is costing me money for doing this.
I wanted to ask for the manager but then I had a look at the gentleman’s badge and he was the Retail Manager. I have left half of the food there, as the other half was at home for my family and 2 drinks. i have said I am not going to argue and I didn’t want anything from McDonald’s, I have walked away as there was no resolution between us.

Read moreTable service was slow,it's supposed to be fast service, our food was only just warm,as always in this place, 1 of the items was made wrong, but my other half couldn't be bothered to send it back and wait another age for what he actually ordered and the ladies toilet was disgusting, needed a good a good clean. The whole place was cold and I had to keep my coat on to eat, it's gone down hill over the years. One of the managers seemed to be doing nothing but walk about, "pretending" to look busy, but she just seemed to be doing nothing.not the best mcdonlads about if im honest..westcroft, bletchley beats this one by miles, sorry for the bad review and I don't like to be negative, but it's how I see it and am being honest, some massive changes need to be done at this particular restaurant...food to be warmer for a start and also the restaurant area to be warmer, there is no need for 2 separate doors to the restaurant for a start letting all the cold air in. Also the car park needs to be rearranged, its dangerous, there are no seperate walkways in between people pulling off from the windows while your walking to the entrance across the car park, I nearly got knocked over as they didn't see me and my family while pulling away and over taking someone that was stopped at the end window..
