The staff seemed nice and I enjoyed my ice cream in a come, but I was very disappointed to discover there were no options to avoid single use cups when having a coffee at the tables provided.
I also noticed many people sat at the tables eating from polystyrene plates.
It would be wonderful if the cafe could make some simple changes which could help us enjoy what I am sure is tasty food and drinks without us having to generate rubbish.
I am aware that some things "can be recycled" but this is not an environmentally responsible or energy efficient solution. So a wash and reuse option for people who are not getting takeaway would be more environmentally responsible.

The egg bap was poor - the bap had not been toasted on the inside (not a big deal) and it wasnât buttered, which made it dry. Additionally, the egg had not been seasoned at all, so it was all rather tasteless. Considering the bapâs price (ÂŁ4.50) Iâd have expected a bit effort.
In summary, lovely view, average coffee and...
