A very highly rated place and for good reason judging by our visit. We were fortunate to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here. If it hadn't had fell on a midweek day then I feel we wouldn't have got in. It's an unpretentious dining room and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The menu is a bit limited and any fussy eater like me may want to phone ahead to check what's on offer. We had fillet steaks and they were excellent, together with a nice selection of vegetables. The Austrian theme is nicely carried through into the menu and the wine selection, so we opted for Wiener schnitzel and Austrian wine. Didn't have dessert but from the expression on faces of neighbouring tables I think we missed a real treat! Would be 5 stars if service had been bit more personal. For example, 2 portions of bread were dumped on our table with only a 'here you are'. I expect better from an...
