My fiancé and I visited the tea room after me having talked to him about it for years. It is as always an incredibly visit. The tearoom itself is super cute and vintage looking and very cosy. The food is amazing and they’ve actually increased the options available since I was last in but everything was fresh and tasty.
I ordered a hot chocolate with a fruit scone with jam and cream and they were unreal! My fiancée ordered a tuna jacket potato and for dessert/drink a banana milkshake and he was blown away. He said the food was delicious and despite not normally being a big fan of the side salads that come with jacket potatoes that theirs was the freshest he’s ever had, he wishes ever salad he would eat would be like that.

i went here ages ago on a visit to morpeth with my cousin, we stopped our shopping for a little break to have something to eat and drink. i had the soup of the day which was ham and lentil with a bacon sarnie on the side (i was that hungry) and we both had a cuppa my cousin had a toastie and with salad which she said she loved! the tea came with little glass cups and gorgeous saucers (i like little things like that- weird i know).! but the tea was delicious and the soup was the best i think I've ever had! plus the bacon sarnie went very well with it. the staff were lovely and were very easy to talk to. we shared a little salted caramel brownie or shortbread thing for desert and it was amazing!!!

Forget the calories, just indulge a while....
