Mix — Restaurant in England

We arrived at 1:14pm to get a quick lunch and when I suggested to my family to go to subway across the street saying it would be quick and I was right this was the best 1 hour wait for some mediocre food. We got our first drink which was a bottled lemonade after 10 minutes and our smoothies after 40 minutes it’s now 2pm and my father had to ask twice for our food until it finally came out and one sandwich was correct while the other was missing some meats since it was a deli sandwich, I also got mine at the same time and it took another 10 minutes for my sister to get her pancakes which were off the kids menu and I was slightly appuled when we started to leave and said thank you to the staff who.. tryed to serve us they looked our way and ignored us… with a trip to the bathroom flys and leftover fruit shoots were all over the place. I'm sorry to say very disappointed in mix cafe today. We are local so actually was very surprised to get a seat when Newquay is thriving at the moment. However your cafe was empty. This was 12.30 until 1.15. Apparently you have changed your menu which you are intiltaled to do. While there ,at least 4 lots of families came in and walked out and that was in the short time I was there with my hubby. We could see 4 members of staff not very busy. THIS IS TERRIBLE. Do NOT come here. Staff are lazy rude and stand around. Waited way over 40 minutes for one plate then another 10 minutes for another two and then guess what… they forgot a whole person’s order. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete joke. Staff just say that “the chef is still learning the menu” well oh dear, we’re paying customers and the food wasn’t even that good after an hour waiting around.
