Aavkar Pani Puri — Restaurant in Great Britain

We recently ordered pani puri and dahi vada from Avkaar, but our experience was quite disappointing. The major issue was the portion size: we received very little potato filling for the 20 puris we ordered, which was far from sufficient. This left us feeling unsatisfied and frustrated with our meal.

In addition to the poor portion size, when we called the restaurant to address this issue, the owner responded very unprofessionally. Instead of understanding our concern, he became annoyed and started shouting at us. This level of customer service is unacceptable and added to our overall dissatisfaction.

Overall, the food quality was subpar, and the customer service was even worse. We expected a pleasant experience but were left quite disappointed. We hope Avkaar improves their portion sizes and customer service...

I recently visited Aavkar - a pure vegetarian Indian street food restaurant. I tried the Pani Puri, Dahi Bhalla Chaat, Samosa Chaat, and Masala Dosa, and each dish was packed with fresh, authentic flavours. The Masala dosa came with coconut chutney and sambar which were both delicious, complementing the dosa beautifully. Easily the best Indian food I’ve tried anywhere in the UK!

The restaurant was clean, cosy and comfortable. The service I received was brilliant, lovely and friendly staff.

If you’re a fan of authentic Indian street food or just looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and the overall experience were simply outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try more...

This place has improved a lot compare to how it was. They always make you wait for the the foods that they tell you the food will be freshly made. It’s a local shop so I can comment much towards customer services or waiting time. They always short on staff that makes it longer waiting time for food orders. Food 🥘 as always taste much better but on few occasions I have thrown a complaint in relate to few things found in food but like always there was nothing done towards a Complain that’s why 4 🌟 only.

In-door table serving improved a lot compare to being served in Bagasse Burger Box (it looked unprofessional)
