Namaste Gurkha (Blandford Forum) — Restaurant in England

Me and my friends came here while passing through Blandford. The food here was great, such a variety of options. My favourite would be the Momos, bhindi and the Pani Puri. Would love to have proper Nepali curry with the pork belly and curry on the bone as an option. (even just one dish) but the chefs cook up such a good meal.

NEGATIVES : The service was terrible, we had a young girl that was terrible at taking orders, forgot to bring our drinks for 20-25 mins. (there was only 1 more person in the restraunt) She would just leave our plates (no idea how to do table service, didn't bother to ask if we wanted any more drinks through the whole night so we had to get up and ask, spent most of her time on her phone or the guys behind the counters phone. My family, along with another, had the pleasure of dining at Namaste Ghurka this past Saturday night, an experience that left us all with a profound sense of satisfaction and delight. Comprising 4 adults & 4 teens, our diverse group found common ground in the exceptional meal we shared, which my husband-a discerning foodie w a hearty appetite-described as the best he's had in a v long time. I have supported this business for some time. The time waiting has always been high but inevitably the food has always made it worth the wait. However this weekend they broke all the records for poor service. I was notified on the order tracking service my food was ready for collection. However on arrival I was informed it was not ready. 45 minutes later I was given my order. I got home to find the food was all wrong. I phoned and was told my order was being bagged up so would be ready .On arrival it was not ready. I had to wait a further 30 minutes. The girls on reception were polite but unable to carry out front of house duties.
