Appalling Service.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent visit to Nando’s Freemans Common in Leicester was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
The service was beyond atrocious. My food took an unbelievable 58 minutes to arrive, only for the entire order to be wrong. The chicken flavors were incorrect, and both my sides were wrong too. When I asked for this to be rectified, it took another 20 minutes for them to simply “rebaste” the chicken with the correct spice. I even had to request for my sides to be kept warm in the meantime.
When the corrected order finally arrived, I requested to speak to the manager. An employee came over and kindly offered free extra sides as a gesture, but I declined and reiterated my request to speak with the manager. It then took the manager 10 minutes to show up, and she brought the forgotten sides with her.
What shocked me most was her attitude. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she smirked at me as though my concerns were a joke. There was no apology for the delays, the incorrect order, or the poor service. Instead, she dismissively asked, “What more can be done now that the chicken is correct, and all the sides are here?” Her tone and demeanor were nothing short of disrespectful.
When I asked for her name, she hid her name badge and said I “didn’t need to know,” before walking away. She later reappeared without her name badge and instructed her staff to remove theirs as well. When I asked another employee for the manager’s name, I was told, “I don’t know, she’s new.” Eventually, another staff member suggested her name might be “Esker,” though I doubt even that was accurate.
The lack of accountability, the blatant disrespect, and the manager’s unprofessionalism were shocking. For someone in a leadership role, her behavior was appalling and unfit for someone managing customer service.

But unfortunately I have expected far more than the reality at this place ! Yes , I have ordered some drinks , starters and main course food via Nando’s App and waited almost 15 mins before they serve us the pitta bread and drizzle ! That was quick . But we were looking at each other waiting for our drink! . The second person came after 15 mins with the main course meal ! That was quick too but without the drinks !! We asked him that where is our drinks , he said “ oh you didn’t get your drinks yet ? Let me arrange that for you noting our table number was 20“ we again waited for 5 mins looking at our starter and main course meal getting cold for the drinks.. well the story doesn’t end here .. the lad who took our complaint and noted the table number were roaming around without any efforts making things right at least . I had to go to the counter asking the lady can we have our drinks at least after 10-15 mins now from the main course served and 30 mins after the starters ! The lad who noted our table number to arrange the drinks asked me sorry what’s your table number ? I felt like I take the table and put in front of the till counter !
They three behind the counter made face with each other and looked the lad with the exclamation emotions and one of the lady said “sorry we were busy that why “ . Wow what a response ! Finally we got our warm beer and wine when our starter and main course got cold and the garlic bread like a chew gum !
Fantastic service guys … keep it up ! One day this branch will get closed I’m sure .

Read moreThey forgot one of my starters. Asked for it three times. It came out along with one of the two mains. When I got the second mains I got a brest rather then what I asked which was a leg. I told them I wanted a leg said they will get the leg with my sides came back five minutes later saying I either can have the breast piece that I didn't want and sent back or I could wait another five minutes. Told him I want a leg piece and not a brest piece. Also asked for the two tubs paranise which was paid for. He came back with one. Twenty minutes later I walked over to ask to speaking the manager because my food hand arrived and the one main that did arrive was cold. I was offer a ten pound gift voucher via email. And my food was coming right away. I personally felt a ten food voucher was a poor effort of compensation considering my friend had eaten their entire meal. And I didn't even have mines. Another five minutes later I asked to cancel my order. At which the manager said ill up your compensation to £15. Like what I dont get a meal which i paid for and your going to give me £3.75 as compensation now. I laughed and said I shouldn't have to want for a voucher via email. I would like it now. So she returns to my table and gives me a refund on my meal with no compensation now. What a laughing stock a complete shambles I could see the staff weren't getting on with each other one of the lads was telling off because she wanted him to do something and he was im cleaning this table manager ain't manging anything.
