I'm not going to lie we used to come here and it was really nice so we went back yesterday, first of all why do they employ staff when they litrally do nothing but bring your food over? That's not a waitress. I'm disabled and she sat us at a table when we asked to be out of the way and it was right in the section of about 10 tables because they have renovated and no booths or walls separating you anymore, I hate it when restaurants don't have a quiet section or a bit out of the way for anxious people, or people on the spectrum so already off to a bad start for us both with a disability, severe anxiety, ASD and ADHD. The girl then said we go and get our own cutlery, our own drinks, order at the bar, and I'm sat there like I physically can't get up and down to do that AND hold it with my crutches.. my carer/ husband told me just to forget about it because the foods nice so we can forgive that bit. So we opened the menu and that's changed aswell, looked at what I normally have it was almost £16 for some chicken, mash and a bit of corn on the cob... then starter prices on top of that, then drinks, then dessert, all together probably would have cost us £70/£80 it's not financially a good meal out for a younger couple anymore. It used to be, so we went over to pizza hut instead where we had starter unlimited salad, side, main and unlimited drinks for £38 for us both!! I'm sorry nandos you used to be good but you don't cater for all individuals anymore...

We normally go to the one at Castlepoint in Bournemouth which is exceptional in every single aspect, but with going bowling at Tower Park we decided to go to Nando’s there. It was a pleasant surprise to be served really quickly, however, the Peri Peri chips were Luke warm, I took the plate of food back up to the counter and a woman serving there said she would bring sone more chips over, I asked if she would like the plate of food back to put it right but she said she would just bring more fries over!!! So I took the original plate of food back to the table and a further bowl of fries duly arrived. On starting on the butterfly chicken which looked and tasted really dry it was apparent that it had obviously been cooked sometime ago and had been standing under the warming lamps for a long time just waiting for a customer to order. No one came and asked how the food was and if everything was ok! Spoke to who I took to be the manager and explained my disappointment and he just shrugged his shoulders and went away. SURELY THE REGIONAL MANAGER FOR THIS AREA SHOULD BE HEEDING THESE GENUINE COMMENTS AND ACT ACCORDINGLY. I will NEVER visit the Towerpark venue again, but will gladly go back again to the Castlepoint Nando’s , fantastic staff, service and food , well done...
Read moreI visited Nando’s at Tower Park with my child on Friday night, looking forward to a meal we’d both been excited about, only to be turned away at 9:15 pm because the restaurant was closing early due to a lack of staff. This was extremely disappointing, especially given that there were still plenty of customers inside, and meals were being cooked right in front of us. The restaurant appeared to be functioning normally, which made the situation all the more frustrating.
On a busy Friday night at such a prominent leisure complex, better management and organization should be expected. It’s shocking that a popular chain like Nando’s would close early, leaving customers—especially families with hungry children—without options. My son was looking forward to this visit, and we were left disappointed and hungry.
To make matters worse, we were advised to drive to another Nando’s about 25 minutes away. By the time we would have gotten there and found parking, it likely would have been too late to eat. While the staff member was considerate enough to suggest calling ahead, this was hardly a reasonable solution.
I expected better planning and customer service from Nando’s, particularly on a Friday evening at such a busy location. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I hope management takes the necessary steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to other customers...
