We came in yesterday for my son's 13th birthday as he wanted to go for dinner with his friends. There were 9 of us altogether and the staff were super sweet about sitting the 6 teens at a booth and myself, my husband, and my daughter at a table close by. They kindly allowed us to bring in a cake which they held in the back for us and brought out after we'd all finished eating. The member of staff who took our order was really patient and sweet even though I was having to order for so many, she didn't seem irritated or impatient with me at all. The food order came to less than we were expecting and had budgeted for, and the portions were really great sizes, we all left very satisfied. The wait staff were really kind and attentive, came and took our plates when we were done and again were lovely about the sheer amount of us. The staff then put the candles and topper on the cake and brought it out for us whilst singing happy birthday, and brought over some smaller plates with spoons and a knife so that I could cut and serve the cake for us all. The staff were also really sweet and talking to us about my son and his birthday, said kind things about him and his friends, and were generally just super friendly. My husband and I both agreed that it was an amazing experience and that we would absolutely go back, and my son and his friends all said they loved the food and had a great time - even one friend was a vegetarian and he said he was pleased with the vegetarian options considering it is a chicken restaurant. Not much has changed since my last review, Food was better post lockdown and most items available and 20 minute wait for food.
But...
Portuguese atmosphere nowhere to be seen or heard.
Shame when that was one of the major factors that lead to the success of this chain.

Well previously I'd rated Nando's 5 Stars across the country I've been to many and I've been going to Nandos for the past 20 years one of the first ones in London amazing but unfortunately I'm afraid to say that Nando's has lost its way. Nando's used to have a fantastic Portuguese atmosphere which is just as important as the food that you eat they have changed their menu they might even deny this but they have changed the way that they they cook and prepare the chicken added ingredients that were not needed. They now care more about out the look of the food than the preparation.
Now before I rip into the staff they are just normal people who needs Direction the ones that I have witnessed in the restaurants that I have been to have not been trained to do their job properly. And you can see this reading the reviews.
Come on Nando's get it together get it right and maybe you'll find that your restaurants will be packed out once again.

And after we been waiting 20 minutes and still NO! And again I asked one of the staff can I speak to your Manager and she said of course but despaired!!! No manager!!
