Sad to say, we've been here a few times and it's got worse and worse every time. Today we waited at the counter, with about 5 staff, ignoring us minute after minute ticking by until we got sick of waiting and left! It was extremely obvious we'd been ready to order for a long time and simply got ignored. The cafe only had 2 tables in. We were already irritated by the fact their hygiene ISN'T a 5 and have a ridiculous policy of charging 25% more to sit in their uncomfortable, old wooden chairs and the prices are already more expensive than they should be. Read moreFirst time coming here since it changed from being Mairs Deli. Overall very impressed! The counter layout was better and the boards were very clear. The range of sandwiches here is no less insane than it was with hot and cold options, interesting veggie range and loads of nic-naks! While I do appreciate that sandwiches are being made to order I was waiting a long time for mine, some feedback would have been nice even if it was a quick "Sorry, the turkey is fresh out the oven and we need to let it cool a little before slicing". The second time of trying I realised why it wasn't very hot, I ordered a sausage sandwich with brown sauce and witnessed the sausage being microwaved. For £3.50 I expected a bit more than 2 sausages microwaved in a dry bread bun. It will be my last time visiting here.
