Had fish and chips with a pot of curry sauce on the side. The chips were a generous portion, and really crispy and fresh, the fish was a good portion (for the price) Fresh not slimy, not wet, fell apart in to big flakes and the batter was crispy and not full but f oil. The curry sauce was delicious, not the usual chip shop curry sauce, nice flavour, nice and thick. Way off the mark. Not traditional at all. The chips were out of a prepacked plastic bag. Not the fresh expected Maris Piper or similar potatoes. Traditional Number 8 is hands down the best of the huts at West Bay. The cod bites are a must-try – fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Also huge portions! 🙌
