Ocean Bar — Restaurant in England

Came here today, waited an hour for our food and then only 2 out of the 5 of us had food the other 3 waited another 20 minutes. And then again only 2 arrived and then waited another 15 minutes for the last one. Food was awful barely any fish all batter. Chicken strips were burnt, looked as though they have been cooked 3x over. Also the tuna melt panini had no cheese just tuna mayo! The waitress with the blonde hair serving food was rude and was not apologetic at all just mumbled sorry! We wasn’t asked if we needed anything else. We came down as season had started on Northam arrived late afternoon rang Ocean Bar and asked if food was still being served was told yes also asked if we could eat at the bar as it gets extremely busy on Bingo nights was told yes no probs as they were already getting full,so we went up around 6.30pm ordered drinks managed to find 2 stools at corner of bar only to be told we couldn't have food at the bar, disappointed really as was misled, and never experienced issues before however Thanks to the young dark haired barmen who secured us 2 spare stools, just a shame about where food can be...

Visited today on a recommendation. So very glad we did.. the customer service we got was 💯.. unfortunately my partner became a little ill after taking his medication.. this caused him to have a light headed moment, leading him to knock his drink over... Mark was fantastic and understanding.. he cleared up quickly without hesitation, reassured my partner who was quite embarrassed and refilled his glass for free... no fuss, no trouble, no judgement. A huge thank you... The food was delicious, hot and arrived quickly... and very reasonably priced. We would definitely visit again without...
