Been going to Ollys for years whenever I visit pately Bridge. Always rated how nice the food was until the most recent visit. We visited about a month before and the card mashine was not working so had to pay by cash. Again when booking this meal we where tild that "we are unsure if our card mashine will be working tomorrow" like it was a regular or planned thing. Just shouts tax avoiding to me. We had a standard 4 people for a 2 course meal. We waited 20mins after our resavation to be seated as apprently it was a "really busy evening" (there was 2 tables or 2 and 1 table of maybe 5 or 6). All starters where nice (garlic bread), but when it came to mains, we had to wait quite a while almost like our meal had been forgotten on top of this my partners pizza was not fully cooked in the middle. Was almost like it had been made and frozen then reheated? The sides didn't arrive until 10mins later and then we chose to take these home as they came out so late. My partner complained about his meal and the lateness of started so they did take about £3 pound off the bill. At how bad the service was I would have ideally expected at least one item removed off the bill especially when I payed £120. I won't be coming back to ollys again for a long time because of this expernce and have also shared how bad it was with my family who also used to frequent ollys on each visit. Thankfully we have been informed of a few more affordable and nicer places in pateley which we will try at...
Read moreWow. Where to start? We popped in to order a takeaway, we’re staying in how Stean (20mins drive) when we got back the pizza & garlic bread were understandably lukewarm, but wow.. this is without a doubt some of the best, most authentic, perfectly balanced pizza we have had in our lives, and believe me.. I’ve been to Italy multiple times.
We ordered a carne picante, a garlic bread with tomato sauce, a bolognaise and a fries.
Firstly, the pizza. Beautifully stone baked, with the most amazingly fresh ingredients and perfect ratio of sauce & cheese. 10/10
The garlic bread, again, beautifully stone baked, the tomato sauce has to be home made surely, because it’s amazing. There’s a perfect balance of garlic in there too. 10/10
The bolognaise, still hot when we arrived home. Pasta cooked to perfection and the sauce was fantastic. 10/10
The fries were standard fries, but we expected as much! Definitely not the reason you go to an Italian restaurant but a good add on non-the-less.
Service was exceptional, greeted with a smile and politeness!
I really don’t have a bad word to say. Hands down the best takeaway I’ve ever had! I can only imagine how good it is fresh out the oven dining in!
For us, it definitely puts Pateley bridge on the map and the next time we swing round we will definitely be stopping here to dine in! Thank you for...

I booked a table at Olley's for 7pm on a Thursday for my partners birthday meal. It was nice and easy to do so!
Upon arriving at the location, there is no allocated parking for the restaurant but there is on street parking, plus plentiful parking in the towns car parks, etc., luckily, we were able to park right outside.
When entering, we were greeted warmly by one of the witnesses and given drinks menus / food menus to read whilst waiting for our table to be cleaned, which took no more than 10 minutes.
On our visit, we ordered 2x drinks, 2x starters and 2x mains and it came to a total of £71. Now, that may sound expensive to some but in this day and age, that is quite the average price for a decent meal, and this meal was beyond decent. All of our food was incredibly, delicious, well made food and the portions were plentiful! We cannot fault anything with the food we received and the service given. Every member of staff we encountered was easy to speak with, friendly and approachable and ensured we had a...
