Oodles Noodles — Restaurant in England

I’ve been coming to this venue since it first opened. It was hands down the best noodles I’ve ever had. But…

I realised all their menu items were suddenly available, (they usually only do one special for each meat a day). And when I got my food I noticed the quality had dropped significantly, the meat was cheap cuts, the taste and flavour all gone. And then I began to suspect they’d been bought out. And low and behold a quick google tells me George (the old owner who was such a nice guy) had sold his business and the new owner is already destroying everything that made oodles such a great place.

How disappointing. If the new owner could have learnt one thing, it’s that oodles was a success because of the quality and taste. It could have been an ‘off day’, so I will try again soon and change my review if it’s back to usual standard.

EDIT: You can see how the new business treats their customers and feedback from the childish reply below. Instead of listening and adapting, you get called ‘naughty’ and accused of slander. The decor is stuck in the 80s. Very dated, dead atmosphere. Asked the management for today's specials. I ordered pad Thai noodles king prawn. My family ordered 2 soups tom yum with king prawns. We made sure to instruct twice not to use any coconut milk please. The manager offered a spicier alternative and we said great as long as there's no coconut milk involved. Long and behold they brought both soups having a strong flavour of coconut 🥥. The manager refused to accept when we first brought her attention. But when I told her to ask the chef he confirmed that it was used. I said I won't pay for it nor will I eat it. In the end she said she will get it made how we wanted in the first instant but then it meant the rest of us are eating whilst 2.people don't have any food in...

This place is HORRIFIC! Please NEVER order from here and don't be fooled by the pictures online as this establishment when researched is now under new management who have ruined the the great reputation it once had. Ordered and paid over £35 for food that I wouldn't serve to my dog. Boiled meat in red water sauce, It all went in the bin. When I rang to complain they told me 1. to place the water sauce in a pan and thicken it and 2. they would refund £19.00 to my account and had taken my bank details. They HAVE NOT REFUNDED ME, this was over x4 weeks ago. They obviously thought I would forget! Please do not waste your money!! I have never left a bad review in my life and I'm 40yrs of age....
