Well well well.... Normally we have no issues with this store. Buy online. Get delivered from here. Not this time... Pizza took 84 years to come (exaggerated a bit. About an hour) Started noshing on our cheesy wedges... cold and crunchy... gutted was proper looking forward to them. Next stop... garlic bread yay... also cold... sad face. Okay pizza (they have to get this bit right being a pizza store) pizza was stuck to the lid I repeat stuck to the lid. And the garlic dip was open. And then to top it all off we was sent ginger Pepsi max instead of normal Pepsi max. I know what everyone’s thinking... third world problems and all that jazz. However... when we called (this is where it gets juicy) The guy that answered didn’t have a clue what we was saying.. we told him what happened and we actually heard his conversation with the manager as he forgot to mute his phone. So we was asked “what do you want” “Refund” we replied “You will have to call the store manager tomorrow”
Tomorrow comes... (now today) Called head office. In a meeting Called the store “I can’t hear you, clear your voice” over and over (eye roll) said we have to process it online. We said “that’s not what we was told yesterday” “Well that’s our policy” “Well I suggest you train your staff” “Ok bye” phone drop (him not me) Called again... NO ONE I repeat NO ONE at any option answers.

Read morePlaced an order on the website at 8pm on Sunday, paid by bank, and received a full payment receipt (showing Papa Johns GB) but no order number or confirmation screen. Customer service is only open Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, so I called the store directly.
I spoke to someone who admitted they were new and couldn't help me at all so I asked for the manager to please call me back.
They called me back (great) but it was the same person. He again reiterated that there was nothing they could do because the system didn’t generate an order number. Even though I offered to email the payment receipt, they refused to process the order. He said he believed me but still would not make a Pizza.
This shows a complete lack of common sense and customer service. I proved I had paid, yet they left me with no food and no resolution.
Papa Johns has lost me as a customer for life. I will be escalating this when I have time to ensure that I get...

I ordered a couple of pizzas from them that were never delivered. I then rang the local branch only for them to tell me that the delivery driver had knocked on my door multiple times. Which is strange as I was eagerly sat by my computer desk which is right by the doorway waiting for my pizza delivery.
The guy on the phone then claimed that it was my fault and asked me if I'd still like the cold pizza delivered. I told him I didn't and asked him to cancel the order at which point he just hung up on me without replying.
I tried to reverse the payment through Monzo unsuccessfully and have now paid for pizza I never got delivered. That's £24.99 they stole from me.
