Pepe's has become a go-to spot for me when I'm craving delicious food with a bit of a kick. The burritos and chicken and rice box are personal favorites, and the wide range of spices they offer ensures there's something to satisfy every spice preference.

However, the spiciness can be a bit hit and miss. Some days, it's just right, providing a flavorful and enjoyable experience others the spice is overpowering.

One appealing aspect is the offer of free wings when ordering through fast food apps and spending over a certain amount. While I appreciate the bonus, I do wish they provided a choice, like chicken tenders, as the wings is the only option currently available.

Although the food is undeniably tasty, I find the prices a bit on the expensive side for the portion sizes. While the flavors are worth it, it would be even better if the portions matched the price more closely.

The staff at Pepe's are consistently polite and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience. Their professionalism makes ordering and dining in a pleasant and stress-free affair.

At my workplace, the team frequently orders from the Crewe branch of Pepe's, and it has never disappointed. The food is consistently good, and we've already placed over 40 orders from there.

I usually travel away from home for work and halal/thayyab food is always something I struggle with finding. Especially a trusty place when there is no HMC registered places about (see the HMC Halal website/app. Pepes is usually HMC registered in various other towns/cities.

So I called up the Crewe branch and asked the million-dollar question: "is your meat stunned or non-stunned please". If someone cannot answer this question and/or doesn't know to what I'm referring I usually just stay away (this doesn't mean they're not halal, but I prefer to give it a miss). The call handler didn't understand me so handed it over to one of the supervisors/owners.

Thankfully my question was rigorously answered and the lovely bro informed me that, 'all the meats are HMC certified but the chicken is halal and non-stunned but from a non-HMC shop/source'. That was good enough for me and I placed my order.

Got to the takeaway and the service/mannerism was/is excellent. All the staff seemed lovely and with excellent shop-front manners. The food was lovely on both days I ate as on the second day I took home a frango (my 8 year old and wife both loved it too).

The only reason for giving a 2 star rating for the atmosphere was due to the all the background music. I explained to the bro nicely about how music can cause hypocrisy in the heart (based upon the hadith, and Allah knows best) and mainly stood outside whilst waiting - just so I didn't need to contaminate my ears/mind with the tunes/lyrics of whatever was playing.

The nice man at the shop front was kind enough to turn the music off though after seeing why I was waiting out. So I'm sure if one asked nicely they'd turn the music down/off. Hopefully someone finds this review helpful and may Allah give the shop...

Pepe’s has been a firm favourite of ours for e 2 years now, I was obsessed when I was pregnant and ordered about 3-4 times times a week. My partner always had it with me and next day always complained of a bad stomach(we always put it down to the spice)

We continued to order but since moving house and ordering from here the food takes over an hour to come.

Besides this we ordered and ate Pepe’s Saturday day time and Sunday night/Monday morning I had awful sickness but put it down to just being unwell my partner then started to become sick extremely unwell and ended up being hospitalised!!! Hospital confirmed that it was gastroenteritis and we had got it from something we had ate. The only thing we both ate the same was pepes and makes sense with it being around the 24 hour mark

I am absolutely gutted because I love this place and won’t order from anywhere else..
