My experience at Piccolino in Marlow for dinner was delightful. We started with an order of mildly seasoned garlic bread focaccia and an appetizer platter. The wagyu lasagna was stunning and the truffle fries were absolutely the best I’ve had. We also had crab ravioli as well as spaghetti bolognese which were both tasty and served in large portions. Even though I was served the ice cream while it was slightly melted, it was still delicious. Wonderful food combined with great service and a wonderful atmosphere created a great evening for me. I strongly recommend participating. I for one plan on returning.

Place to go if you’re looking for rude treatment & nasty service! My wife asked for a glass of prosecco and got the last drops from a bottle opened day before. When she kindly asked for a new glass - given the flat prosecco she was served. Instead of accepting her request they lectured her about how the taste would not change and that there was plenty of bubbles enough. I’ve enclosed the video of the new glass they poured vs the original glass. But it took a lot of back and forth to get the proper pour. Anyway, if you miss rude Italian treatment , don’t miss this gem at Marlow !

Out celebrating with family. The restaurant is very stylish and well presented. We were lucky enough to get the outside seating on a lovely dry evening and they have a warming atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and know the menu very well. Sadly we went on a day that had limited supplies for sea food which was unfortunate but the food we had was very tasty. We did wait a little longer than expected for our first course but once it started coming it came out fast. Overall a delightful dinner but some of the wow dishes weren't in stock. Will go again.

I went there with a friend for a couple of glasses of wine at lunchtime. There are very nicely upholstered bar stools and we were both dressed quite smartly. We sat at the. bar and then noticed that another customer sat their dog on one of the chairs. I asked the barman what was the policy on dogs sitting on upholstered chairs. He said that he did not personally agree with it but that he was in a no win situation. I asked to speak to the manager, who was very aggressive and stressed. He said that it was a dog friendly area and that I didn't like it then I could go elsewhere. I asked if he would refund the drinks that we had already ordered but had not drunk yet and he declined to answer. He just said that he had been working hard and the whole place was very busy. I persisted and said that I was OK with the area being dog friendly as long as the dogs were on the floor, but not on the nicely upholstered chairs or on the bar. He then got very angry and said that ' of course he wouldn't allow dogs on the bar' but when pressed he would not say whether dogs would be allowed on the chairs or not. He then said that he did not see the dogs sitting on chairs, but I persisted that his barman did. He then repeated that I could go somewhere else but did not offer to refund the drinks. The whole experience was very stressful. I feel that the staff are very aggressive and unfriendly and are possibly overworked, stressed and untrained in decent customer service. I would not go again and advise only to go if you do not care about hygiene, wearing nice clothes or want a friendly and...

Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at this newly refurbished restaurant with my girlfriend, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance that made for a perfect evening out. It's impressive how the place has transformed since its days as a Bar & Grill—now it truly shines as a standout dining destination.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes. I opted for the filet steak, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of seasoning. My girlfriend chose the tagliatelle, and she was equally impressed; the pasta was fresh, and the sauce was rich and delicious.

We also enjoyed the cocktails, which were expertly crafted and complemented our meals perfectly. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner spot or a place to unwind with friends, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly...

A very disappointing experience at Piccolino in Marlow for a team lunch. It didn't start well, with no-one to welcome us or show us to a table for 5 minutes.

We were asked straight away if we wanted water - which we did - but this never came and had to be requested another two times before it arrived half an hour later. Two glasses of white wine were ordered; two glasses of Rose appeared. We did not get our starters for an hour. The calamari was completely tasteless - no seasoning and very bland. The goats cheese salad had 4 tiny bits of cheese and was mostly leaves - an expensive way to buy lettuce! The spaghetti carbonara was extremely salty. We requested the bill three times and in the end went inside to pay at the bar.

The service overall was awful, disorganised and chaotic.

All in all we will not be coming back: when this was the Marlow Bar and Grill, it was one of the stand-out restaurants in Marlow. What a shame it has become...
