Pizza was good and tasty ,service a disaster, seriously lacked : when we arrived nobody was there to offer a place at the table ,even if there were more staff than customers, finally someone arrived , took us to a table, after they forgot about us, nobody came to offer to take our order , neither to ask if we need any drinks . We were there for about 10 min when eventually we waved to draw attention of one of the servers and we asked to order , she replied "you can do it on the app" and was about to leave, like she was bothered for even asking to order, found that a bit strange in a restaurant, even if is just a pizza restaurant and i said i do not want to install an app on my phone, would like to order , she seemed bothered and annoyed and seemed we were supposed to know the procedure, unfortunatelly we didn't because we usually order Pizza Hut takeaway by calling,so no idea of how this type of restaurant works , cause the restaurants we visit certainly don't completely ignore customers. she wasn't helpful at all with offering information in regard to the procedure with the salad and bottomless drinks, neither did she offered the buffet that was still on for another 30 min (saw on another review is 13.99, maybe we would have ordered that instead of paying £39 for 2 drinks and only 1 pizza,we would have paid £ 28 and desert would have been included too..live and learn i guess cause the menu does not say the price of the buffet either) , nobody came to the table to ask if we need anything else ..hence no tip and no extra orders of desert Wonder why the manager doesn't keep an eye on things, good service brings more custom and more money even if it is a known brand
CASH NOT ALLOWED "due to covid"?! :))))) so cash were refused , really ?! COVID IS GONE, whoever forgot cash is legal tender in UK and if i ever visit again, which i doubt, i might just give the cash and technically you can't refuse !!!
price of the pizza did not matched the menu price . On the menu was £22ish for a shared pizza, on the bill was over £26ish, no idea why , we added mushrooms as extra topping for an extra £2.75, but that was added to the 26ish so pizza was almost 30 from 22, a pizza that on takeaway i get it for 10...fair to say that those mushrooms were hardly visible, on 8 slices if i saw max 1 mushroom slice on each, but i think 2 slices had no mushrooms, for 2.75 you would think they would slice at least 3 mushrooms to spread them on pizza, but i guess they assumed 1 mushroom or less is enough
Bathroom was dirty, soap only in one dispenser, in one stall one of the toilet paper holders was left open , so no chance of using that toilet unless you want that holder to lean on your head , also the paper wasn't flushing, i dread to think what will happen if someone did a no 2 :)))
Fair to say we probably won't visit this place again, maybe another pizza hut, but...
Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. We went here last night for a birthday treat and upon entering where seated quickly - literally only one other table occupied. Excellent we thought - The lady (manager I think) sat us down and clearly and almost abruptly pointed to the QR code on the table and said we must order on that.. we tried and failed as EE was having a moment and the app was running really slow. We also wanted a bit of advice over the various deals that were running so we called her over and asked to place our order with her directly.. it was at thise point it went downhill - almost a but bizarre. The lady (manager) came over and actually complained to us about having to take our order manually - she said she is only doing what she is told and that she didnt want any attitude! So asking to order manually is giving attitude these days - she went away to get a pen and started calling us rude to the two other members of staff just literally sat there at a table not doing anything apart from playing on their phones. We stood up and left - she even threw in a sarcastic 'bye then' as we walked out. I called her rude and said she had a bad attitude which she did. Why do you employ staff like this and operate as somewhere that gives zero attention to the customer? Call me old fashioned but the hospitality you show is zero. Plus you are cashless which is annoying. The fact that you rarely have any customers in shows that people just arent buying it. Rude arrogant staff, horrendous rude manager and a soulless feel to the place. We will never return and speaking to others neither will they. You may aswell just...
Read moreToday was our second visit to this venue at St Andrews Quay, and it didn't disappoint! There is plenty of parking shared with other businesses. The interior is spotless and because the building is by the River Humber, the views are superb! The staff today were all male and very attentive, very efficient, maintaining the high standards of our first visit. We had a question regarding an issue with an allergy toward Sesame and again, as on our first visit the young man went to great and thorough lengths to address our concerns which, to one item ordered could have caused problems had it been cooked in their usual way. Rather than be disappointed to have to change the order the chefs OVEN cooked fries and.onion rings so avoiding any chance of cross contamination and subsequent bad allergic reaction. NO ONE could possibly have any problems there if they ask the question! The food is wonderful, fresh and well cooked. A good choice on the menu of food AND drinks. The salad bar has plenty of choice and is very fresh with a mix of salad 'oils' and dry sprinkles. There is the usual ice cream station , however, as i didn't have any it would not be fair to judge. One tiny, tiny complaint on both visits: the menu is given immediately but the wait between choosing and the order being taken is a little longer than necessary, but with the view outside it's hardly an issue, and it does give time to get and eat the salad. And once ordered the food is cooked and served speedily! Overall a highly recommended place...I look forward to our...
